Special attention is drawn to the fact that the Government of India is expected to roll out the Goods and Service Tax (GST) in lieu of the existing indirect taxes, which may have an impact on the nomenclature and the rate of GST applicable to the admissions for the year 2017. The Institute reserves the right to collect or reimburse the extra amount of tax by what ever name called from/to the students in case the Government changes the applicable GST rate from the Central Service Tax Rate.

The admission fee (Rs. 16,000/-) is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

The security deposit (Rs. 3000/-) is refundable on completion of the programme (after adjustment of dues if any from the student).

The following conditions apply for the payment of fees and other dues.

i. The fees and other dues payable at the time of admission are mentioned in the admission offer letter.

ii. The fees are payable as per the schedule given, failing which, late fee will be charged as follows:

Rs.100/- per day for first seven days and thereafter, Rs. 250/- per day of delay.

iii. The above fee includes the cost of two ‘NICMAR T-Shirts’ and one tie.

Institute reserves the right to revise any/all of the components of above policy, including payment schedule and refund policy without any prior notice.

HOSTEL AND LIVING EXPENSES

Hostel accommodation is available at Pune, Hyderabad (Shamirpet), Goa (Farmagudi), Delhi NCR (Bahadurgarh) and Indore. Girl students granted admissions are housed separately. All students have to strictly abide by the Code of Conduct issued by the Institute.

Hostel allotment will be done on programme-wise merit basis.

Pune Campus

This campus has four hostels, which all together provide 904 single occupancy rooms for boys and 194 shared occupancy for girl students. A new hostel building of 300 single occupancy rooms is under construction and will be available for occupancy from the beginning of next academic year.

Single occupancy in a two bedded room for girls (if available)

In case, students cannot be accommodated in the campus hostel facility, they may be accommodated in close proximity to the campus.

Mess package charge is Rs. 200/- per head/day. The package includes breakfast with tea, buffet lunch, evening snacks with tea and buffet dinner.

The Institute mess facilities are run by the contractor hired by NICMAR under the supervision of the Manager, Premises and Services (P&S). The manager, according to the suggestion of Students’ Mess Co-ordinator, prepares menu on weekly basis.

NICMAR Hyderabad Campus at Shamirpet

This campus has three hostels, Udyath and Jagrath for boys and Dhanasri for girls, which all together provide 560 shared occupancy rooms for boys and 136 shared occupancy rooms for girl students.

All programmes at Hyderabad (Shamirpet) campus are fully residential and students have to compulsorily reside in the hostels

NICMAR Goa Campus at Farmagudi

This campus has total three hostels, which all together provide 330 shared occupancy for boys and girls students. Hostel has capacity to occupy 170 students in Ponda Commerce Center, 80 students in Pearl Hostel and 80 students in Main Campus Building at Farmagudi.

The hostel at this campus has capacity of 100 students which is separate for boys and girls.

Payment Schedule:

Hostel and mess fees are payable term-wise within 7 days of the commencement of the term. In case of any delay, a fine of Rs. 75/- per day will be payable for the first 7 days, after which, the fine will be Rs. 125/- per day. The hostel and mess fees once paid are non-refundable or non-transferable. Mess facility is mandatory for all students staying in NICMAR hostels.

Typically, the total living expenses including hostel, mess and any other expenses at Pune/Hyderabad(Shamirpet)/Goa(Farmagudi)/Delhi NCR(Bahadurgarh)/Indore are approximately Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 14,000/- per month.
