Rules and Guidelines for Chess:

1. Each school will be represented by a team composed of one (1) male and
one (1) female.
2. Only registered JPIA members and bona fide students of their respective
schools are allowed to participate in the tounament.
3. Official names of the participants/players with their respective signatures
must be submitted to the organizing committee on or before 5:00 PM on July
etc etc. The list of players is final and irrevocable. Addition of players after
the said date or during the game would not be tolerated.
4. Each team must bring at least one (1) chessboard.
5. A team will play against every other team once. Each game will last for one
hour.
6. The tournament director will announce the pairing of teams and other
guidelines on the day of the tournament.
7. Violation of any of these rules and guidelines would mean disqualification.
