Case Study: Dubai International Airport, Concourse 3 - Dubai, UAE

Project:

Dubai International Airport, Concourse 3 - Dubai, UAE

Client:

Dubai Civil Aviation

Supplied Products:

UNGLAZED GRES PORCELLANATO TILES: Unglazed tiles have a rougher

surface than smooth, glazed tiles. The rougher surface allows for better
traction when walking so that unglazed tiles offer better slip resistance.
Unglazed Gres Porcellanato tiles are highly durable and particularly suitable
for use on commercial floors.
GLAZED GRES PORCELLANATO WALL TILES: liquid glass is applied to tiles and
then heated with fire to create a glazed surface. Glazed tiles are shiny and
can be made in a variety of colours. Glazed tiles are non-porous and
therefore highly stain resistant.
GLAZED CERAMIC WALL TILES: As with Glazed Gres Porcellanato Wall Tiles,
liquid glass is applied to ceramic tiles and then heated with fire to create a
glazed surface. Glazed ceramic tiles can be made in a variety of colours, with
matt, satin, shiny or highly polished finishes available. Glazed tiles are nonporous and therefore highly stain resistant.

Supplied Quantity:

150,000 Sq.m

Estimated Project Value:

$1.7 billion
