Our client has an immediate opening for a Network Manager in the Glendale, AZ area.
Network Manager Job Description:
The Network and Infrastructure Communications Manager Network role is to plan, direct, and coordinate the
design, implementation and support of the network and Infrastructure communications systems to ensure the
availability of the organization's IT assets. This includes maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing all
existing Network hardware, software, and communication links.
The Infrastructure Communications Team Manager must maintain a detailed working knowledge of network,
Telephony, and Video, Telecom Vendor and Expense Management, and Unified Communications technologies and
possess knowledge of a wide range of applications and systems. The person should be driven by customer
satisfaction and have a firm grasp of Network, Telephony, Telecom Vendor and Expense Management, and Video
services troubleshooting, monitoring tools, and escalation processes.
Interaction with other teams within the company for a variety of company initiatives will be required. Additionally, this
role will be responsible for day to day personnel management which includes scheduling, managing staffing
requirements, hiring, development, coaching and evaluating team members.
Additional Responsibilities Include;
Coach and mentor Engineers to ensure personnel are working effectively as individuals and as a team (team of 10
Engineers).
Help create personnel development and training plans.
Promote a positive work environment and an attitude of operational excellence.
Supports succession plans that align and support organizational goals and objectives.
Accountable for ensuring effective utilization of available resources in a cooperative, collaborative, and team
atmosphere.
Provide hands-on leadership when needed, with the ability to know when this is appropriate.
Develop, refine, and document network administration policies, processes, procedures, and associated systems
and drive their implementation and use.
Makes recommendation on Network and Communications technologies opportunities and provides the means to
implement them within considerations for priority and available budgets and resources.
Collect and process data to understand and track IT expense within the Network Team.
Manages internal and external resources to complete the projects within time, quality and budget expectations.
Responsible for concurrent management of several large programs and projects, and their coordination with other
initiatives within the Enterprise and each other.
Ensure accurate and detailed incident, request, and change tickets.

Ensure optimal performance of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, load balancers,
firewalls, etc.
Perform network asset and configuration management, including network component inventory and related
documentation.
Develop, refine, and document network administration policies, processes, procedures, and associated systems
and drive their implementation and use.
Ensure a high level of Network availability and performance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Required:
10+ years experience in managing Network Services and projects for a large IT department.
5+ years experience in the acquisition and management of technology and technology professionals.
In depth understanding of Network Services and technologies (Routing, Switching, Load Balancing, Wireless,
DHCP, VPN, Automation, and Firewalls)
Experience managing Telecom vendors and services, including expenses.
Familiar with Telephony, Video Operations, and Unified Communications services and technologies (Avaya, Nice,
Polycom, and Lync integration).
Demonstrated success in matrix management and influence environments.
Ability to plan, organize and achieve coordinated objectives.
Handles stressful and difficult situations in a calm professional manner.
Ability to manage multiple and/or highly complex I.T. project teams. Leads technical efforts of project teams
involving other managers and/or consultants.
Demonstrated ability to adjust focus to meet changing priorities, alteration in strategic directions and shifting
customer needs.
Ability to be on call for incident notifications and management escalations.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Has full working knowledge of principles, theories and concepts applicable to Network Management.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence vendors on product/service direction and resolve significant business issues.
Ability to envision future requirements and integrates them into the development of technology directions,
architectures and initiatives.

Preferred:
Relevant industry experience (Insurance or financial services).

Job description:
Reporting to the Manager Analyst, Server, Networks & Telecom Administration, you will
be a member of a small team of Network and Server administrators. In this role you will
design, install and support the underlying infrastructure that lets technology operate
smoothly for all our staff, faculty and students. You will play an integral part of
maintaining the data and voice networks, as well as data storage, virtualized server
infrastructure, disaster recovery preparedness and network security.
This position will be required to collaborate and communicate continuously with the IT
Services team and the university community to ensure projects and initiatives are
appropriately defined and successfully implemented or completed.
Additionally, you will be required the ability to operate systems in a maintainable
fashion, keeping excellent documentation, implementing redundancy and applying
sound security principals.

Qualifications:

To be well suited to the role you will possess the following qualifications and
competencies:
Formal training/education in Network administration and five to ten years of relevant

work experience
Formal training/education in Computer Systems security
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Expert experience with VoIP /SIP/T.38 protocols
Expert knowledge of Local and Campus Area Networking
Expert experience with Switch configuration (VLANs, ACLs, STP, etc)
Expert knowledge of Firewalls, IPTables and advanced Routing
Expert experience with 802.11 Wireless networking
Advanced knowledge of Fibre Optic cabling
Advanced experience with both Interior and Exterior Data cabling
Advanced experience with Linux and common Open Source software
Advanced experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Enterprise tools
Advanced scripting abilities (Powershell, BASH, Perl, etc)

The Opportunity: IT Operations Manager
The IT and admin communications lead will be responsible for managing and directing the Canada IT
administration team in the delivery of administrative support services to Canada IT. The IT Admin and
Communications lead will support the day to day operations of each admin team member, coach and mentor
the team, complete performance reviews and provide meaningful feedback to help staff develop and grow.
The Canada IT administration team manage the following services:

CIT Financial management (budget preparation and tracking analysis, forecasting and reporting)

The lead will also be responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the IT Communication

page. The IT and admin communications lead will be responsible for managing and directing the Canada IT

Requirements:
A college diploma or university degree is preferred
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working in a fast paced and demanding environment managing

A motivated self-starter who is resourceful and shows initiative

IT Project Manager
in US - NV - Las Vegas

Job Description
IT Project Manager will be part of an ERP implementation team and responsible for assisting the Program
Manager in ERP roll out. Position duties include, but not limited to project planning using MS Projects,
resource scheduling, team meetings setup, coordinate and run meetings, meeting notes distribution and
communications. MS Dynamics or any ERP implementation experience preferred. 5+ years experience
as a IT Project Manager required. Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint.

Experience managing projects using any one of the leading Portfolio/Project Management tools
such as Clarizen, Innotas, Planview, Clarity or ServiceNow.
