The automobile industry entered the mainstream in the 1920s. Finally, the
average family could consider owning a car. Manufacturers had found ways to
make cars more efficiently, and safer to drive.
The first production Model T was produced on August 12,1908 and left the
factory on September 27, 1908, at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant in Detroit,
Michigan. On
May 26, 1927, Henry Ford watched the 15 millionth Model T Ford roll off the
assembly line at his factory in Highland Park, Michigan.
They help people who were in rural areas to get the supplies they needed and
that were able to visit the city more often and they dont have to wait for the train
to go when they wanted and so it provided more jobs because people were able
to get T by making roads and also gas stations jobs were opened up soccer car
making jobs it was a great time for jobs
Cars helped people get from place to place and then they didnt need to walk,
take a train, or struggle to go into town.
It affected peoples lives because they could actually go place to place without
spending a lot of money.
It also outclassed trains and horses especially because the trains you dont have
to wait for than and also there was no need for horse carriages because cars
were more effective and also easier for the common man to get places and they
were just better

Planes:p
World War 1 (1914-18) helped the development of aeroplanes which, in the early
1920's they were much more reliable and capable of flying longer distances and
carrying heavier loads. This made possible the carrying of passengers on a
commercial basis. (1920-30)
Airplanes were built to carry lightweight materials like wood and canvas
Before World War 1, planes were rare and you would be lucky if you saw one
In 1920, the English Air Force auctioned off 10,000 surplus airplanes and 30,000
aircraft engines. Which many people seen in service in war.
4600 American airplanes were built in 1928
The increase in capabilities of 1920s planes also created the opportunities for
daring men and women aviators to break and set aviation speed and distance
records.
There are shows for airplanes like daredevils wing walking, jumping out of
airplanes, opportunities to ride an airplane is $5 per person.
Charles Lindbergh flew nonstop from New York City to Paris in a single-engine
airplane, the Spirit of St. Louis. It took him 33 and a half hours to travel 3,610
miles.
It changed peoples lives because airplanes used to carry only lightweight
materials like wood and canvas. Now it can carry heavier loads and longer
distance. It also made it possible to carry people.

Trains:
Trains have been around for decades but in the 1920s the Southern Railway
opened and it operated 100 trains across a state a day
More than 1, 500 towns or cities in the state had railway stations
In the 1920s trains added luxuries for vacation travelers to make their overnight
train rides more enjoyable
They made a streetcar system so after they got to the train station they could get
on a streetcar to make it to their next destination for 5
