A Car Accident.

One sunny evening, my friends and I decided to go to the

park. We went to Pendangs Lake right after school. We went
there by a public bus. We felt excited. We arrived there at 4.00
p.m. There was a night market a stones throw away by the park.
We walked around the park and sat on a old brown bench for
a while. After that, we went to the night market. We bought two
glasses of mouth watering creamy coconut shakes and a plastic
bag full of local fruits. We talked and laughed happily. Suddenly
we felt hungry so we bought chicken rice and two glasses of
orange juice. We ate it under a huge green shady tree beside the
lake.
There were few cars passed us by. In the twinkling of an
eye, a car crash occurred. It happened between two cars
travelling in the opposite direction. One of the driver lost control
of the car and hit another car from another lane. This is because
the driver tried to avoid potholes while he was speeding. The
victims were injured. Many people stopped by to check out the
victims. Some of the bystanders took pictures and a young man
tried to help the victims. An old man said that it is best to wait for
the professional help. A passer-by quickly called the ambulance
and the police. Five people were taken to hospital with major and
minor injuries. However, the driver was unhurt. Luckily, there
were no causalities. They were taken to Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah
by white ambulances.
We went home at 6.00 p.m. We felt sorry for the victims. I
promise to myself to be a careful and courteous driver when I
grow up.
