GIS TECHNICIAN, CARROLL ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE COORPORATION
July 2007-November 2013
I started my internship in the summer of 2007. I worked every Thanksgiving,
Christmas, and summer break until I graduated.
I mainly worked with data driven maps in the ArcGIS software. I did data entry, and
programmed several models and tools to run different things and make other jobs
run quicker. My job description was mostly working on our digital maps and
keeping them current and accurate.
I received 2 raises each year. My job performance review was excellent and I was
given a raise yearly for superior conduct. I was praised for my quality of work as
well as how quick I was able to do my work.

teachers.

never short or over any amount of my money. Ive reached and exceeded every
quarterly goal set by my superiors.
PARAPROFESSIONAL, CARROLL COUNTY LEARNING CENTER
February 16, 2015-May, 2015
I work as a teacher/therapist to children ages birth to 5 years. We prepare these
children for Kindergarten. Its a specialty school that was created for children with
learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and social disabilities. I work with these
children every day to obtain goals set by the administration. Goals such as being
able to build towers with block, saying their last name and age, standing on 1 foot,
communicating and socializing with other students, etc. Each goal is based on that
specific childs needs, disabilities, and age. Its a very rewarding job watching the
students grow and learn new and valuable things. Things they never thought they
could do or say. In addition to helping the children with their goals, I also feed
them, play with them, and at times am a glorified babysitter as I sit back and watch
them play and interact with other students and learn how to do different things with
their hands. This was a temporary job, I was filling in for another teacher on
maternity leave, so when she returned I was no longer needed.

In high school I was team captain of all sports I played. At work I

did not officially supervise anyone; however, I was a go to person if
anyone had questions. I am Secretary of a Christian organization
called Higher Ground. I am in charge of keeping this group
organized. I book all the retreats, communicate with the contacts,
arrange housing for the retreat workers, and work closely with the
treasurer and board of directors. I am the initial face of the
organization.
