Position Description
Summer Groundskeeping Position:
As a summer employee with CJ Management at Ocean Edge, your main responsibilites will be to maintain the
grounds and gardens of the property, including outside private houses. Your pay rate will be $13.50 per hour.
Intermediate to Advanced English is required as you will be interacting with American supervisors and co-workers
and American homeowners on a regular basis.
You must be willing and able to work outdoors for 8 hours per day, including in the hot and humid weather on Cape
Cod.
You must arrive to work on the first day with good, hard-sole work boots. If you do not have work boots, you will not
be able to work that day. No sneakers, tennis shoes, or sandals allowed.
You must start work on the day agreed upon during the interview, no later than June 10, 2016.
You must have already applied for your Social Security Number (SSN) in order to begin work. Please plan to arrive
at least 3-5 days before your first day of work, so you can check-in with Intrax, then wait 3-5 days to apply for your
Social Security Card in Hyannis. Keep the receipt from the Social Security Office after you apply and bring it with
you on your first day of work, to show that you have successfully applied for your SSN.
------SECOND JOBS
It is possible for participants to obtain a second job, but the second job must not interfere with the schedule for your
job at CJ Management.
Intrax participants are not permitted to work a second job without first receiving approval from Intrax.

HOUSING
Housing is not provided by your employer. Intrax will provide you with housing leads. You must reserve your housing
by contacting the landlords and housing leads that Intrax provides to you.
There is no wi-fi access on CJ Management property.

Contract Agreement
Sponsor Statement:
Intrax has contacted the employer by phone or in person to verify the employment offer and information in this
agreement. As a designated J-1 visa sponsor for the U.S. Department of State regulated Summer Work Travel
Program (22 C.F.R., Part 62), Intrax has approved this Job Placement Agreement and determined the participant is
eligible to accept the employment offer. Continued sponsorship of the participant is dependent on adherence to the
agreement made here between the employer and participant.

I acknowledge I have reviewed, understood and agree to all the terms of this job agreement;
I understand that, while they will make good faith efforts, neither the employer nor Intrax can guarantee the
terms of this agreement and that my duties and responsibilities are subject to change according to the needs
of the employer or other unforeseen circumstances;
I agree to hold the employer and Intrax harmless for any financial loss I incur as a result of a change in terms
of this agreement;
I understand that either myself or the employer may end the employment relationship at any time with or
without prior notice according to applicable employment laws;
I agree to contact Intrax immediately if I am let go by my employer (fired) or if I plan to end my employment
voluntarily;
I agree that I will not begin work at a new job until Intrax has approved the job placement and company; and
I understand that, while I will always receive Intraxs support, I am responsible for securing housing on my
own if it is not provided by the employer as indicated in this agreement.
