Peer Observation

On Wednesday 6th of November 2016, I went to my colleague Afra

for peer observation. I observe her teaching math lesson about
the number 6. I think her lesson was good. She has a good
classroom management. I like her introducing for the lesson
because she start the lesson with song to let children feel active.
She has a great planning for the lesson. She made students learn
about the number on concrete and abstract concept.
For Afras weaknesses, she need to manage the time will and do
more effective activity for children to support their learning. I
think she has a few students at the classroom, so she need to
make them more involvement and try to involve them. I think she
need to be more close to children instead of being strict.
I think from my observation, I learn many things from Afra, I learnt
to manage my classroom by using different level of my voice and
use the reward system effectively. I will try in future to focus on
Afras weaknesses.
