Father in heaven,

We thank you for the amazing, beautiful world you created. Help us to care for it.

We thank you for the incredible, tasty foods you have invented. Help us remember and care for
those who are hungry.
We thank you for the inspiring stories and teaching in the bible. Help us to share this good news
with people everywhere.

I humbly come before you to ask for my children have a heart of a servant and to
want to obey those placed as authority in their lives. I pray that they obey us as
parents for it pleases You Lord. Guide us as parents to lead our children in a godly way
and makes it easier for our children to obey us. I pray that as obedient children they
do not conform to the evil ways of the world. I pray that in their love for the Lord,
they will hold fast to you.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not flunk
He keepeth me from lying down when I should be studying
He leadeth me beside the water cooler for a study break
He restores my faith in study guides
He leads me to better study habits
For my grades' sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of borderline grades

I will not have a nervous breakdown
For thou art with me
My prayers and my friends, they comfort me
Thou givest me the answer in moments of blankness
Thou anointest my head with understanding
My test paper runneth over with questions I recognise.
Surely passing grades and flying colours shall follow me

so that they may learn
of Your wonderful virtues.

students, you will find the individual needs and attributes of each one. Pray for God to direct your
heart.
Consider the Apostle Pauls prayers and advice to young Timothy. Fight the good fight of the faith.
Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the
presence of many witnesses" ).
Pray that your students be interested in spiritual things. Pray that God will draw them to
salvation and a growing relationship with Him. Pray that you will be an example of God's
love to them.
Pray for their home situations -- that their homes will be filled with love and encouragement,
instead of hate. Pray for protection from abuse or emotional harm. Pray for supportive and
loving parents to guide these children in their lives.
Pray for the interpersonal relationships in your classroom. May God develop life-long
friendships and remove anger and quarrels from those who don't get along.
Pray that students will persevere, even in times of doubt and discouragement. Students may
need extra help, so pray for the right mentors to come along side them and encourage them.

 Pray against harm. Pray for God to remove thoughts of suicide or self-injury. Pray for God's
protection of your classroom and school.
