F9

Conductor Fill. The cross-sectional area of the conductors permitted in

a seal shall not exceed 25 percent of the cross-sectional area of a rigid
metal conduit of the same trade size unless it is specifically identified for
a higher percentage of fill. (NEC-501.5(6))

SAES-P-104
Section 4.1

F10

Wire fill of standard conduit sealing fittings (type EYS or similar) shall
not exceed 25% based on the conduit size. Larger size sealing fittings
with reducers, or conduit outlet boxes (e.g., Crouse-Hinds GUA series)
with appropriate sealing covers may be used in order to utilize the higher
permissible wire fill of the conduit.
