Parent &
Community
Involvement:
Describe how you
will communicate the
action plan to
parents and the
larger community.
Include how you
might involve them in
its implementation.
This action plan will be communicated through parent emails, newsletters, and the school website. The parent email, online
newsletters, and school website link can all be found when a parent logs on to the school eclass page to look at their childs
progress. By linking all the information to eclass, the likelihood of parents seeing it and participating in the action plan is
more than if letters were sent home with kids or to addresses. Parents can participate in the action plan by having children
work on English/ writing strategies at home. The writing prompts and other practice assignments will have links on the
eclass page so that they can be easily accessible at home. Feedback on effectiveness and any parent concerns will be easily
communicated through eclass links directed to the teacher.
