Dear Doctor,
We are honored to invite you to an exciting and an interactive 2-day event that will take place in Grand Hyatt Hotel, Dubai,
United Arab Emirates on 21-22 October, 2016.
Type 2 diabetes is a chronic, progressive, and increasingly prevalent disease that is fraught with risks for the patient, frustrations for the
physician, making it a long and often difficult journey. CV disease is the underlying cause in over half of deaths in people with type 2
diabetes and is the principal cause of death in people with type 2 diabetes. CV death therefore represents a huge burden and is a key
consideration in management of type 2 diabetes. Recently, new CV outcome trial results are published, and others are upcoming in the
near future.
A comprehensive scientific agenda is prepared for the first day, in ACROSS T2D: Clinical Advances in Bridging T2D and
CV Disease, including keynote lectures, debates and panel discussions.
In the second day, the objective is to take a pragmatic approach on how T2D treatment can be further simplified with the leading
classes of current oral treatment options, in Regional Interchange on Diabetes: Simple Approaches for Individualised T2D Management.
There will be a special focus on real-life case studies as well as optimizing early patient-physician conversations.
We look forward to welcoming you in Dubai.
