Guided Practice/Interactive Modeling (10 minutes)

Read through the examples on the worksheets and read through the
worksheets with the students. Ask them to do the examples after I provide the
first one as a model out loud.

Differentiation
I will read the worksheets out loud and provide many examples with actual
coins. I will also work with the students if they need extra support.

Activities/Independent Working Time (15 minutes)

Once the students have completed Counting Money worksheet.
I will then give the students the Count the Change worksheet to do on
their own. I will read the directions and help students as needed, but will make
this as independent work. This worksheet will incorporate all the other coins.
After this one, if the students are still interested and time willing, I will use
the Money Practice Test worksheet.
