Teaching on the mat (15 minutes).

Students age: 5-6


years old

Show the students pictures start with letter a.


Teaching.

Show students flashcard include letter a, say the sound of it, and ask them to repeat the sound.
Show students flash cards include pictures start with letter a (apple, ant and ambulance) and ask
them to repeat the words.
Sing a song about letter a. (ants on an apple a a a ).

Teach students how to write letter a by write the letter on the board.
Give each student small white board and marker and ask them to write the letter on their boards.
At the end of the lesson, each student will have a piece of apple.

Activity system

There are 4 groups of


students and the English
teacher take one group
only after she finish
teaching and other sit with
the Arabic teacher. Then
the teacher changes the
groups.

be giving white paper and colours; they
have to draw apple and write (apple) on
the same paper.
