MY VACATION

When working and studying tired too much, its time to take a vacation to chill out and
be relax. For this reason, is important to change the routine, doing something different
with the free time you has. Besides, the people will do important things that they cant
do when they are working. On my last vacation, I had to work in my fathers
supermarket, but I also had the change to travel around Colombia and some free time to
read and go out with friends. In the next paragraph I will describe how was my job,
where I travel and what I do in my free time.

For the first part of my last vacation, I started to work in my fathers supermarket which
name is La Revancha. My father paid me every week for working on morning and
afternoon. I worked there for three weeks because I just was replacing a worker who
was visiting him family. I really enjoyed to work in a supermarket because I met new

people and learn how to cater the shoppers. Besides with the money I won, I brought
clothes and books to read in my free time.

Finally, for the last part of my vacation, I did a trip with my family around the
Caribbean region of Colombia. This trip was planned by my mother and aunts because
my grandparents were fulfilling 50 years of marriage and they want a trip. We traveled
by car because my grandfather doesnt like the planes. We started the trip in Valledupar,
where we staying for 1 days because we were just passing through. Then we went to
Santa Marta, where we stayed for 3 days because we wanted to enjoy the beach.

Then we travel to Barranquilla for visiting the family of my fathers cousin and my
mothers friends. After that, we went to Cartagena to see La Ciudad Amurallada, and
relax on the beach. We stayed there for 4 days in a beautiful hotel near the sea. Finally,
we went to Medellin to left my grandparents because they live there. When the trip
finish I still had two weeks free. For these reason, I spend my free time reading books,
watching movies and going out with my friends at the last week before going to study.

In conclusion, in my last vacation I did important things like working on my fathers

supermarket and funny things like traveling around Colombia. My family and I enjoyed
the Caribbean cities so much and the travel was perfect. Maybe I should did something
productive in the last 2 weeks after the trip, but I really needed rest before starting to
study.
