any ISTE-S standards that seem to naturally align with the selected resource.
PO 1. Evaluate scientific information for relevance to a given problem. (S1C1PO1)
PO 2. Develop questions from observations that transition into testable hypotheses. (S1C1PO2)
PO 3. Formulate a testable hypothesis. (S1C1PO3)

RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.
This presentation resources is a website that allows students to be creative when they present. The website
allow you to adjust and zoom into a specific area if you would like to. The students can create any frame that
they like and write their ideas on the area that they would like The website is very user friendly so the
students will not have much trouble getting started. They are amazing at transitioning and altering the way
the new slide is presented.

INTEGRATION IDEA - PRESENTATION

How might you use this resource in a lesson plan to promote students
presentation/speaking/communication skills?

I would have the students present an idea with their partner. In their presentation they would have to include a
slide with a be a slide that describes what they are testing. There should also a slide with a hypothesis and a
slide with the variables that they will be testing. The students should also include a slide that has references
that they used to give background information about their topic. I will ask the students to be as creative as
possible so that they can have fun making their presentation. I will be grading their presentation on content
and creativity mostly on content to make sure that they understand the topic. The presentation will help the
students with their communication skills and should not be reading directly from the slide. The students

should be able to take turns presenting and they should each be able to present a slide so that each person in
the group participates.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
Based on the value-added rating scale above, how would you rate the technology integration you described,
using the selected resource?
My rating would be a 3 it's very satisfactory, I really like how the students can be creative and shift to a new
concept. They will be using this website to help fulfill the content standard Formulate a testable hypothesis.
(S1C1PO3). once they have made their hypothesis they will be presenting it in class. If all the students are
made to present they will understand what they are learning. The students will see the trend: the Independent
variable is the variable that you are changing and the dependent variable is the variable that changes due to
the independent variable.
Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.
The student will be actively learning since they will be reading the material that is required for them to test
their experiment and they will be typing it also. As they type they will be learning the material if they want a
good grade in their presentation. This presentation website makes it entertaining for the students to learn how
to start off the scientific process. Not only will they make their own, but the more presentations that are made
the more the students will gain better clarification if they need it. Some students may not understand the
concept of two variables, and may not want to ask, but they will get their information from the rest of the
presentations. I really like the idea of saving the presentation in an account; that way the students can not say
that they did not bring their flash drive. The feature that I love is how you can connect the account to
Facebook so if you forget your password your able to log in through Facebook.
