Abstract This paper is part of the

requirements for this course which should
comprise of the narration of the knowledge and
experiences acquired from this course.

III. BASIC SUMMARY OF THE COURSE

I. INTRODUCTION
This course is about laws and ethics,
emphasizing on its relation towards our program
which is electronics engineering. This paper will
summarize my evaluation for this class.

II. WHAT IVE LEARNED

Basically this course focused on the laws
and ethics, specifically on the obligations and
contracts considered by our country. With these,
we correlate the code of ethics also of each one of
us as engineers and the business ethics.
Studying for this course may cause
confusion and dilemmas. The right and wrong can
get blurry. The conditions and terminologies can
get unclear at times. Many situations were
considered and analyzed for the sake of truly
understanding the natural law and civil law.
In this course, we used the book, The
Law on Obligations and Contracts (2014) by
Hector S. De Leon and Hector M. De Leon Jr.
As the book title suggests, we explored on
the obligations and contracts. We studied many
forms and scenarios for which articles and
conditions apply.

The meaning of law and its kinds

Terminologies of obligation and contracts
together with matters under them
The differences and/or similarities of terms
such as void and voidable, agreements and
contracts, compensation and obligation,
null and void, etc.
Various articles relating and connecting to
each other
Conditions and exemptions
Punishments and compromise
Ethics: business and moral ethics
Problem solving
