Teaching goal

The overall aim of the lesson is to lists all the healthy and unhealthy food mentioned
in the story.
Learning objectives
The students will be able to:
1- Classify the healthy and unhealthy food.
Assumptions about prior learning
# Most of the students may not know how to comparing between healthy and unhealthy food.
Anticipated problems and possible solutions
# Some students will have a problem with distinguish the healthy and unhealthy food, so the
story will help them to remember the food.

# Make sure that all students understand my language and the lesson.
Target language

Story: the very hungry caterpillar.


Healthy: Apple orange watermelon
Strawberries.
Unhealthy: cupcake lollipop ice cream corn.

Main tasks or activities

Cut and stick table: the student will use (stick


color and some cotton) and they will make a
caterpillar.
Math table: there is some fruits on the table and
some fruits paper.
Coloring table: will draw the caterpillar.
Writing area: the student will try to write the
days.
Water area: the students will wash the fruits
with sponge.
