1.Please describe your technological strength/expertise

which you think would be suitable for the position you are
applying for, and how you can contribute to Murata. (Less
than 500 words)

I developed my interested in marketing from previous job as

marketing assistant. I was part of the two profiles i.e. bottom of
supply chain management and marketing.
Working as marketing assistant I have acquired practical knowledge
of field. I learned how to deal with clients and how to manage. I am
very good team player.
From my undergraduate I have inclination towards project
management, marketing and quality management. I have done
following course in my under graduation which I believe relevant to
this job profile.
Project management, I this course I have learned project
management concepts, project appraisal, project contracts, project
appraisal and cost estimation. Apart from this I understand about
project planning and scheduling, and modification and extension of
network. I also learned socio cost benefit analysis, risk analysis, and
CPM and PERT.
Total quality management, In this course I learned about quality
concepts, control on purchased product, manufacturing quality,
quality management, human factor involved in quality, defect
diagnosis and control, control charts and attributes of control chart.
I also learned ISO 9000 and its concept in quality management, and
seven QC tools.
Introduction to marketing, I have done online course from EDX
offered by UBC. In this course I learned about dynamic marketing,
market research, segmentation, positioning and value proposition,
branding and pricing, and social media measurement.
Supply chain analytics, This course is online course from EDX
offered by MIT. I understand basics of supply chain analytics,
prescriptive optimization models, econometric models and
simulation and how to handle uncertainty.

Apart from this I am very good team player. The attitude that I
acquired throughout may career and skill set I have will definitely
help me to be valuable part of Muratas

2. Please describe your understanding towards Japan. What

can you imagine as difficulty to be working in a foreign
country with different culture and people? (Less than 500
words)

I have not visited Japan myself but from what I heard from my
friends who had visited Japan for their internships, I picture
Japanese society as intellectually uplift and conserved. Major
difficulty I could imagine working in Japan is language barrier So I
am learning Japanese. Frankly speaking, for a person who is a huge
fan of Japanese anime, Japan is no less a place than dreamland.

Please describe what you expect to gain from working in

Murata, from the position you are applying. (Less than 500
words)
Marketing and project management profile of Sony Japan provides a
great opportunity to work. The profile coincides with my interests
and can help me to give a direction in life. Working in project
management and marketing section can provide an environment
which will serve justice to my full hearted efforts and push me to
my limits. Moreover, a foreign workplace adds charm to it which
surely helps in ones personality building. I am sure that am not
able to fully foresee what other gifts there might be in store.
