Subject: Individual Evaluation of the Group Marketing Proposal
In my group, we worked on a proposal to increase the number of young professionals who stay in the
Fargo- Moorhead area. Kayla Thompson, Ian Howden, and I, shared ideas throughout the meeting,
divided the work evenly, followed the rules that we had made in the first week, and had zero conflict. All
of us made sure each of us understood what was going on in our marketing project. We helped each other
to fulfill each goal we had made at the meeting.

My Contribution
I was in charge of the sections for the benefit, the budget, and the survey. I worked hard to analyze the
survey and aggregate the results to make it clear what is important for the marketing proposal. During the
meeting we discussed about the hard benefits and soft benefits for our proposal and I did some research in
order to support the benefits we went through in the meeting.

Kaylas Contribution
She was like a leader, even though we did not specifically have a certain role for each us. Throughout the
meeting, she led our group as a facilitator and made our group meeting work smoothly. Also, she took
responsibility to hand in the assignments and organize our meeting times since everyone had a busy
schedule.

Ians Contribution
He gave us ideas and pointed out our mistakes, which helped us to improve our marketing proposal.
Furthermore, he gave me constructive feedback that made it easier and effective to focus on a few points
for market research.

Overall
The group work went very smoothly because the plans we had made were well organized, and we met the
deadlines we assigned to ourselves. Everyone came to meetings on time and shared our ideas during the
meeting. It was the best group work I have experienced so far. This might be because our group just had
three members and the meetings utilized the class period. Also, each of us performed our best in our own
way like leading the group and giving effective feedback, which made the group work even better. We all
were responsible for each of our work that was assigned and I would say it was a successful group work.
The group work went well and smoothly, but we each did not have time to meet many times. However,
using the Google document made it easier for the group to work effectively, using text to communicate.
This made it a little bit difficult to know what was going on, so we discussed at the meeting that we
should meet more in order to get our presentation ready. Although we communicated effectively through
the short meeting times, I think making the group meeting shorter and meeting up more frequently will be
helpful for the next presentation.
