quality learning environments along with many more. Along with other experts,
Christopher was focused on providing Mexicos future community with the opportunities
that could sustain and progress generations to come.
Christopher said, If the design of the learning environment helps students
become better stewards of our resources, that school fosters lifetimes of environmental
success within our citizenry and community. Those children, as they go on to become
parents, professionals, and leaders, will make this world a better place for all.
A part of his plan is to create sustainable school designs that will have farreaching ramifications for generations to come. Recognizing that our future lies with the
children of today, Christopher intends to reinforce the importance of environmental care
for students on a daily basis. These simple acts can create more a green conscious
mindset that can foster better education for todays students who will be facing the
impacts of past mindsets. He stressed the importance of creating a people-friendly,
comfortable environment that encourages students to do their best and strive for
education.
Christopher found, Teenagers who typically would not consider turning off a
light switch have a newly found passion for saving the world. They have an innate
respect for the environment: the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the animals
and plant life that share our planet.

Not only is educating our students on healthy environmental habits essential,
but creating facilities that save environmental space. Christopher advocated that
careful design in a world of endangered environment is very important. These green
environments can save money and aid in the survival of Earth. Aside from the saving
key environmental space, Christopher believes that green environments are more
beneficial to your health and are more aesthetically pleasing.
As we designers and educators work with the developers of future planned
communities, together we can minimize environmental disruption by siting residential,
commercial and institutional buildings in appropriate locations, leaving open spaces in
areas which are environmentally sensitive, Christopher stated.
The event was sponsored by Instituto Nacional de la Infraestructura Fsica
