Adjustable VSWR alarm thresholds

thresholds are adjustable via LMT and RC.
Default threshold: warning level = 2, alarm level = 3.
For each antenna port a VSWR warning or alarm appears
according to the following conditions (x = 2 or 2.5 or 3):
No Alarm
VSWR < x

VSWR x + 1 VSWR > x + 1

TX jumper supervision
The TX cable connection between MFDUAMCO, HYBRID4
and COAMCO8 module is supervised by MFDUAMCO.
In case of a missing or defective cable connection, a VSWR
alarm appears.

(M)FDUAMCO for AMPS/CDMA850 co-location

FDUAMCOPG (P-GSM)

In a co-location scenario with GSM900 and AMPS/CDMA850

there is an overlapping between the TX band of the AMPS and
the RX band of the E-GSM carrier. An additional filter for every
GSM carrier RX path is necessary to suppress the CMDA TX
signal.
With the (M)FDUAMCO for AMPS/CDMA850 suppression the
expensive external AMPS/CDMA filters are obsolete.
No guard band is defined between the CDMA downlink band
and the primary GSM uplink band. An additional CDMA TX
filter installed at the CDMA site is necessary.

FDUAMCOPS5 (GSM-PS5)

If a co-existing CDMA850 network occupies RF frequencies not

higher than 880 MHz, the FDUAMCOPS5 could be applied to
allow GSM900 operation at parts of the E-GSM band (down to
885 MHz).

COAMCO extension module for 8:2 combining

Overview

The COAMCO is used in conjunction with a

(M)FDUAMCO or MDUX1 in 4:2 configuration
to provide a 8:2 configuration.

RX/TX expander from 4:2 8:2

The COAMCO consists of two identical submodules, each providing additional 4 RX and
2 TX ports.
TX jumper supervision
The connection between COAMCO and
(M)FDUAMCO is supervised by the FDUAMCO.
In case of a cable failure, an alarm will appear.
