Upthrust and density

Density
Worked out by P=M/V
something that has a lower density, but the same volume will have more mass,
and so less weight.
This causes a less dense fluid to float on top of other more dense fluids....
solid objects that are less dense float due to UNPTHRUST :)
1000L=1m3
Upthrust!!!
Archamedies principle- "When an object is totally or partially submerged in a liquit,
the upthrust is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced"
Weight of the fluid = PxVxG
To know if an object will float we need to look at forces including weight and upthrust
Viscosity:
stokes law F= 6/\nrv
viscosity determines the the resistance to movement given by a material
as viscocity decreases, temperature increases
