My name is Alfredo Junior Molina-Nogal but usually am known among colleagues
simply as Junior. I am entering my final year of earning my Bachelors degree in Music
Education with an instrumental emphasis and my K-12 Colorado Teaching Licensure. I am very proud of my teachers and the skills that I have learned through these past few years. I hope that I will be able to bring them into practice and better refinement with more exposure. I may not have been a full time teacher before but I have had some experience with teaching to compliment and equip me to at least have a taste of the profession. I have had previous practicum experiences that are included in my degree program, however I have plenty of extracurricular teaching practice. I worked for Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School in the Spring and Summer as the Saxophone Music Coach, hold a private saxophone studio and participated in the Colorado State University Middle School Outreach Ensemble as the instructor of saxophone for two spring semesters and a conductor as one, which included the world premiere of A Waking Dream by my colleague Zach Pierce. I also am active as a musician currently playing with the CSU Wind Symphony, Dr. Dan Goble Saxophone Quartet and an upcoming recital in November. The experiences that I hold in both teaching and performing have been a crucial part to my cultivation of a music educator and provide a solid foundation in which I wish to continue to build.
