16 poly spots, 8 hula hoops, Music Player, Extension Cord, Ipod, 4 cones

Students will
playing freeze tag,
but when they are
tagged they have
to dance until
someone
unfreezes them.
We will switch
taggers every
minute or so and
encourage creative
expression.
(Transition):
Students will walk
back to their poly
spots and stand
on them.

Set InductionHey class! Today


we are going to
work on some
dance moves! This
is a great
opportunity to not
only get some
good exercise but
also be show
some creative selfexpression. Today
we are going to
learn a dance to a
song called
Hawaiian
Rollercoaster Ride.
This is also a
partner dance!
Once you have a
partner I want you
to stand inside a
hula hoop.
