Questions: Writing about Izwans experience while on holiday. (Text book:
pg.145)

This is Izwan. Izwan is 13 years old. He lives at Bandar Tasik

Puteri. He studies at SMK Bandar Tasik Puteri.

He is in Form 1

Dedikasi. Izwans family loves spending time together. They love

going holidays together.
During the last school holiday, Izwan and his family went to a
fishing village in Terengganu. His father wanted to go there because
the place is by the beach. They went there by car. They stayed at a
chalet by the seaside. They spent a few days there.
The first activity they did there was having a picnic by the
seaside. They spent the whole day relaxing at the beach. Izwan and
his siblings had so much fun swimming in the sea.
The next day, Izwan and his brother went cycling. They cycled
along the beach. It was a sunny day. While cycling, they saw many
fish lying dead along the beach. They also saw so many birds there.
When Izwan went closer to the place, he was shocked. He saw black
oil all over the place. It was from a ship that met with an accident at
the sea. The fish died because the water was covered with oil. They
cannot breathe. The birds could not fly because the oil covered their
feathers. Izwan felt sad to see that. He wanted to tell the police.
Next, Izwan and his brother went looking for a public phone.
They found a phone booth nearby the beach. Unfortunately, the
phone had no receiver. It was vandalized. Izwan was shocked that
people do this to the public properties. He cycled back to the chalet
and told his parents about it.
On the final day of their holiday, they packed their things and
left the place early. Izwan learnt that pollution is bad. We must take
a good care of our environment. We should not vandalise public
properties because people might need to use it. Izwan hope to have
another holiday next time.
