(a)Generalrequirements.Districtshavetheflexibilityofofferingtechnologyapplicationsinavarietyof
settings.Districtsareencouragedtooffertechnologyapplicationsinallcontentareas.Thiscontentmayalsobe
offeredinaspecificclasswhilebeingintegratedinallcontentareas.
(b)Introduction.
(1)ThetechnologyapplicationscurriculumhassixstrandsbasedontheNationalEducational
TechnologyStandardsforStudents(NETSS)andperformanceindicatorsdevelopedbytheInternational
SocietyforTechnologyinEducation(ISTE):creativityandinnovationcommunicationand
collaborationresearchandinformationfluencycriticalthinking,problemsolving,anddecisionmaking
digitalcitizenshipandtechnologyoperationsandconcepts.
(2)Throughthestudyoftechnologyapplications,studentsmakeinformeddecisionsbyunderstanding
