Goal: To coordinate and mentor students taking introductory project management course

My Contribution:
Managed a workload of 70+ students while maintaining a strong network
Provided mentorship through personal instruction and assistance to heighten
comprehension level
Designed and evaluated student assignments to ensure understanding of course

Goal: To provide professional development, networking, outreach, and support for women in
the MIS major
Value: Monthly events facilitated a positive sense of community and engagement for UA MIS
women
My Contribution:
Coordinated events to practice job and internship searching techniques, such as
resume building and elevator speech enhancing
Organized workshops with various companies including PwC, BBVA Compass, P&G
and more
Met weekly with the Women in Technology officer team and the MIS Recruitment
Team to brainstorm and schedule future endeavors to assist in promoting our
programs

Goal: To serve as a proficient member of the Solution Manager & Test Technologies team
Value: The team was provided with valued support and insight on the various current
projects and efforts
My Contribution:
Assisted in the analysis, setup, and implementation of HP Application Lifecycle
Management for the IT human resources and packaging systems teams
Led four training sessions to instruct managers and team members on HP ALM and
the test management process
Assembled final design document to give guidance and a structure to follow for
future implementations
Undergraduate Assistant, UA Office of Information Technology, Tuscaloosa, AL
Goal: To assist in researching and collaborating on current projects and to direct office
visitors
Value: Employees, visitors, and callers were provided with guidance and ease of access in
the workplace
My Contribution:
Compiled analysis reports on topics such as security and student survey responses
Cross-referenced multiple documents for ease of access in tracing connections
Created and organized a glossary to be used by the office compiled from multiple
sources
