Last week we looked at the life of Sarah and how her life prophetically points to
the Bride of Messiah as well as Rebecca, how she portrays the Bride of Messiah
as well. This week we will look at the generations or taldot of Isaac, the two
nations that were in the womb of Rebekah, namely Jacob and Esau. This is
different to Isaac and Ismael because they had different mothers, here the seed
of one woman was split to create two separate nations, from the original nation
that started with Abraham.

The World of Duality

When YHVH created, He created through separation;
separating the waters from the waters, the land from
the water, and lastly, Chavah (Eve) from Adam. In this
Torah Portion, we see the separation of Isaac into
Jacob and Esau. This gives us the idea that the
creation process is running its course, and this was
the first step in creating the Nation of Israel. This
creation process that divides into two is associated with the letter Beit b that
means house and has the number two. This is the letter that is associated with
the second word in Scripture that is barah that means to create, make,
choose, cut down, and dispatch. Taking away from something is also part of
the creation process, and we are familiar with sculpture, where the artist takes
away anything that does not represent or is not part of the image he is creating.
This is the process that is happening here in the generations of Isaac, where
YHVH is taking away everything that is not the image of Israel, the nation He is
busy creating. Jacob represented the parts he wanted to keep, and Esau
represented the parts he wanted to remove, and that is why Jacob and Esau
went through a creation and separation process similar to when YHVH created
the world. Stepping back, we see that the new nation called Israel is created by
separating it from the world, removing all aspects of humanity that is worldly,
away from Israel. This is the concept of what we know as to become set apart,
separate, or Holy.

1
Because of this creative process that involves
separation, duality came into existence in this world,
that consists of opposing parts that were once one, but
now separated to refine or define a particular image
YHVH has in mind. Some of these separation
processes have already been completed, and we now
recognise their parts as light and darkness, hot and
cold, positive and negative, good and bad, male and
female, spiritual and physical, blessings and curses,
etc. We have these polarities in this world that we are exposed to, that helps to
form and shape us into His creations.

Bareness vs. Faith

The first three matriarchs were barren, Sarah,
Rebecca as well as Rachael. None of them had
children unless they believed and trusted YHVH
for a miracle, why is that?
To be pregnant is to have an expectation from the
seed that is implanted by her husband, that a
healthy child will come into this life, who is not
seen at first, but later on, through patience, are born into this world as a
testimony of their intimacy. In the same way, the Father plants His seed
(Word) inside each one of us, we do not see anything at first, but trust patiently
awaits for the seed to grow inside of us, and when the time is right, manifest
through us into this world as a testimony of our intimacy with the Father. With
this being said, bareness then implies that the Father gave the seed, but the
mother cannot let the seed grow to its full potential, and this is called unbelief.
We see these aspects as three cycles in our lives:
Seed of Salvation: We all start off being barren, not believing at all. Then we
received the seed of the Gospel message, and the seed gets born through us
and we become new creations in Messiah. This is the seed of salvation or
redemption.
Seed of Sanctification: Then as a follower of Messiah you receive more seed
that needs to be brought into life through you, these are the seeds of
sanctification, truths regarding your character and Messiahs character so that
you can grow into maturity into Messiah character. These are the seeds that
become the fruit of the Spirit and Holiness.
Seed of your Calling: Then you will receive seeds regarding your purpose in
this world, and if you bring these seeds to maturity, it will make you part of, and
function in the Household of YHVH. These are the Gifts of the Spirit that are the
seeds of your calling.
Cycles of Maturity: Every one of these cycles of your spiritual life, starts with a
state of bareness, where you have to accept the seed for that stage and
patiently awaits for its growth and birth into your life. Some believers are stuck in
a cycle and cannot move to the next level of maturity because of unbelief, that
can be related to fear, fleshiness and sin. Every one of these three women
received the promise of a seed, starting off by being barren, but as they grew
in faith, each one of them birthed YHVHs promise into their lives.

2
These three cycles relate to the three barren women:
1. First cycle: Sarah New name - received a Hey (Spirit) Seed of
Salvation Mother of the nations (to be) This is the purpose why YHVH
saved you; to be part of the nations and to bring in the nations into the
Household of YHVH.
2. Second cycle: Rebekah Her name means fettering or to fetter
(handcuff, restrain with rope, entrap with beauty. She was the mother of
the generations, the twin brothers Jacob and Esau, who represents the
two parts in you, who are raging in battle for the birthright and authority in
your life. If Esau wins, then you are fleshly. We will look at this in more
detail in the next section.
3. Third cycle: Rachel lxr Her name means, ewe (female sheep) and
journey. Once you sorted out the battles within you, you are ready to take
on the journey YHVH planned for your life that is determined by His Plan
and His anointing or abilities He blesses you with.
The truth is the core ingredient for our faith and patience is the incubator that
allow the faith to do its work in us. Peter describes this concept in the hand of
grace and peace that is given to us:
1 Pet 1:1-9 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God
and of Yshua our Master, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things
that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who
called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us
exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be
partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in
the world through lust. 5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence,
add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control,
to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness
brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things
are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the
knowledge of our Master Yshua the Messiah. 9 For he who lacks these
things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was
cleansed from his old sins.
Q How do I receive the grace and peace from YHVH?
Peter starts off saying that grace and peace is given to us through knowledge.
Knowledge is information that is founded on truth. This includes the knowledge
of YHVH, who He is, His character and what His will is, as well as the
knowledge or truth about Yshua, His identity and His work, and who we are
about Him (He is our Master). Verse 3 explains that this grace and peace that
comes as a result of truth (knowledge) is the divine power given through Him.
This we know is true because He is the Truth and the Word of YHVH, thus
giving Him this authority and this power that leads to life and godliness. This
power is His Word and truth that can transform you into a new person that now
live out your new character, namely godliness that leads to life.
He called us by glory and virtue (aret - quality, moral excellence and
goodness). Did He call you because you are morally good, or did He call you so
that He can make you morally excellent by giving you a new nature? The
answer is obvious.

3
Continuing from verse 3, Peter goes on to say that through this knowledge
(epignsis from epiginsk, - to become fully acquainted with someone),
that leads to an intimate relationship with Him. Through this intimate relationship
with Him, you acquire the seed of your calling, the knowledge or truth
regarding your purpose, why He created you and where you fit into the
Household of YHVH.
This truth contains the promises (verse 4), that is none other than the promises
that are found within the Covenant YHVH made with Abraham; the promise of a
Seed that will restore humanity. The Covenant include the promise that YHVH
will give His people a divine nature that will help you to escape the corruption
that is in this world, which you are attracted to through your fleshly desires
(nephesh).
In verse 5, Peter explains that we should pursue this truth (knowledge &
relationship), with all diligence (spoud, haste, do business, take care of
business, carefully), to add virtue (moral quality) to your faith that is an
expression of your new character. To this virtue (moral quality) you then add
knowledge (gnosis - knowledge, esp. of things lawful and unlawful for
Believers), knowledge regarding the Household of YHVH, what He likes and
dislikes and how you should conduct yourself as a follower of Messiah. This is a
different knowledge then what is used in verse 3; that is about your intimate
relationship with Him. This knowledge has to do with the house rules of the
Father, living in His House. This knowledge or truth then leads to self-control,
mastering your desires and passions, that will ensure that all your actions are
pleasing to the Father.
Verse 6 continues, explaining that this mastering of your fleshly desires,
controlling your nephesh, will lead to endurance, the final ingredient that is
required to transform all these truths or seeds, into maturity, manifesting it in
your life. This whole process is what we normally refer to as faith, which
releases YHVHs grace and peace in our lives.
To Summarise:
- Always pursue the truth carefully in your life; truth regarding the Father
and Yshua, of what is allowable in His House and what pleases Him.
These truths are found in His Word.
- Learn these truths from His Word will release the power to transform your
character so that you can become virtues and of good moral quality.
(With the help of His Spirit)
- Intimacy with Him will reveal further truths regarding your calling and the
reason why He created you. He will reveal your function in the Body of
Messiah and the function(s) you need to fulfil.
- These truths from His Word will also contain His Covenant promises to
humanity, the bigger picture of YHVHs plan of restoring man and His
Creation, that will be fulfilled through the Work of the Messiah.
- Control your fleshly desires to allow these seeds to grow in you and
bear fruit as you wait patiently, guarding it with self-control and virtue.
- This will allow you to be of good moral quality that will support your faith
(faithfulness) patiently to the end, where you will receive everlasting life.
All of this is the grace YHVH gives us that will allow His peace (shalom
completion of the building process) to take place.

4
These processes are related to the three cycles we looked at as revealed
through Sarah, Rebekah and Rachels lives. Eternal life is not a goal of your
faith, it is the result of the process you are and will go through, all these things
summarised here, that will transform you and elevate you to receive a new
character, and become a new creation, this is the new life you will receive that
will last eternally as you live and exist with Him forever. Eternal life is the word
chai olam that means a better quality of life.

Faith vs. Faiths Opposer (Satan)

We will now zoom out and describe a concept from a bigger picture point of
view to lay the foundation for explaining the battles we face in life and why faith
is strengthened when Satan opposes us and why Satan exist.
Q Ever wondered why YHVH created man, why Satan exists and how the
concept of faith came into existence?
The higher purpose of our existence is to have a relationship with YHVH. The
reason for our existence in a lower state or what we know as the world, is so
that we can be in a controlled environment where He can finalise or complete
the creation of every person. From our end, we see this as life as we exist in
this world. We are formed through lifes challenges just like clay is formed by the
hands of the potter, his invisible hand if you like.
You will be fully created after your time here on earth, and you will be elevated
to where He is or discarded if you are not of good quality after this process
called your life.
One of the design criterias YHVH has for humans
is that they will have a feature called free will.
The reason for free will is to allow choice that will
allow the concept that we know as love. Love is
the free will choice to choose someone, and that is
the meaning of agape love; to choose someone.
This choice is the first step of the relationship you
will have with that person, and without choice, the
relationship will not be possible. We know this as
a love relationship or a choice to be with that
person, to care for, to help and support that
person, and to interact with to exchange the idea
of having emotional and physical needs met. The result of this relationship is to
make the two entities one (echad). Therefore, YHVH created us to have a
relationship with each of us so that we can ultimately become one or echad
with Him.
Without free will, there will not be a concept like love, and humans will then be
like robots, only doing what they are programmed to do, only having one
choice, that is following the program criteria.
Free will can only exist if you have a choice. Choice can only exist if there is
more than one thing to choose from, like a menu at a restaurant. We all love the
idea where we can pick a good restaurant to go to, where there are many
different meals you can choose from. You would hate it if there were only one
restaurant that only has one choice on the menu. Life is full of choices, good
ones and bad ones, and that is the primary meaning of the Tree of knowledge,

5
knowledge of what is good and knowledge of what is evil. YHVH created these
opposing fruits, so that choice can exist that allows free will so that we can
love.
Satan means opposer, and his existence is so that there can exist other
options to choose from. The Word says that YHVH created evil just like He
created darkness, which is the absence of light, and cold, which is the absence
of heat.
Isa 45:5-7 I am YHVH, and there is no other; There is no God
besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me, 6 That
they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting That there
is none besides Me. I am YHVH, and there is no other; 7 I form the
light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I,
YHVH, do all these things.
Spiritual Insight: The fundamental principle you need to understand, is that
Satan is not a god that is on the same level as YHVH, YHVH is the only God
and the only Creator, and the Serpent, that many call Satan, is subject to
Him. We have looked at the name Ismael (listen to Elohim) and Israel
(righteous people of Elohim) and how Ismael acts as an opposing force that
YHVH uses to get Israel back on track so that they will hear or listen to
Elohim again. This opposing force can manifest in many enemies and
challenges, and the purpose of their existence is to help you to be formed and
created into YHVHs Image. You still have a choice if you want to work with
Him or reject His ways and follow the Opposer, becoming an opposing
force in this world yourself. Now you have a choice; you can either choose
to do what YHVH asks of you, or you can decide to follow the options
provided by the Opposer (Satan) in every situation YHVH allows in your life.

Jacob vs. Esau

We have previously touched on the concept of the two
souls; the nashamah (spiritual soul) and the nephesh
(fleshly soul). We find conflict and a battle raging
between these two souls, just like two dogs fighting; a
white dog representing good, and a black dog
representing evil. The dog you feed will be the strongest
and overcome the other, and you should make sure you
feed your nashamah so that you can be more spiritual than physical.
This symbolism applies to the two characters, Jacob and Esau as well; Jacob
represents your nashamah and Esau represents your nephesh. Paul uses
the phrase lust of the flesh and old man that causes us to sin and war against
our new man or spiritual soul, as Paul describes in Romans 7 that is normally
misunderstood.
Rom 7:21-25 I find then a law (something I obey), that, when I
would do good (obey nashamah), evil is present within me
(opposing nefesh). 22 For I delight in the Torah of Elohim according
to the inward man (nashamah). 23 But I see another law (something
I obey) in my members (fleshly desires - nefesh), warring against
the law of my mind (spiritual desire - nashama), and bringing me
into captivity to the law of sin (lust of the flesh - nephesh) which is in

6
my members (body). 24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver
me from this body of death? 25 I thank Elohimthrough Yshua
Messiah my Master!
The twin brothers, Jacob and Esau, are present in each one of us and the detail
regarding their lives will give us the insight on how to control Esau, and let
Jacob lead. What is interesting is that Isaac was 60 when the twins were born,
and the number 6 (60) represents man or humanity, confirming their existence
within each human. Let's look at these twins side by side to see what these two
opposing forces are all about:
Esau Jacob
Came out first fleshly man, we are born Born second You need to be born
fleshly with a sinful nature. again to become a spiritual man.
Esau came out red with a hairy mantle Jacob came out with his hand on his
that gave him his name Esau that means brothers aqov or heel that gave him his
hairy. name Yaaqov or heel-catcher,
restraining the walk of Esau nephesh.
He was a man of the field animal-like, Jacob was a wholesome man living in
and external man with a physical tents an inside man - learning and
appetite. studying the ways of his father. (Tents of
Shem)

physical and fleshly sinful soul. spiritual soul that pursue holiness.
Esau was born a mighty hunter before Jacob was born pure (tom), just like
YHVH, just like Nimrod. Noah, righteous in his generation.
Blind (spiritual) Isaac loved Esau Rebecca (spiritual enlightened) loved
because of food (flesh). Jacob because he helped with the
household.

Selling of the Birthright

Gen 25:29 Now Jacob cooked a stew; and
Esau came in from the field, and
he was weary. 30 And Esau said to Jacob,
Please feed me with that same red stew, for
I am weary. Therefore his name was called
Edom.
According to Jewish tradition, Jacob was making
lentil soup for Isaac on the day of Abrahams funeral.
Esau came in from the field and asked Jacob to give him some of that ha adom
ha adom or red stuff, but Jacob replied and said he will only give him some if
he would sell him his Birthright. The red stew Esau requested changed his
destiny (generations), and his name was changed from Esau (hairy) to Edom
(red), because of his fleshly appetite. Later on Jacobs name changed to Israel
because of His spiritual desire, which changed his destiny (generations).

7
Receiving the Birthright
In the ancient culture, the Firstborn received the Birthright that
means that they received a double portion. Sounds nice,
doesnt it? But with this double portion came great
responsibility; after the death of the father the firstborn had to
look after the rest of the family, stepping up and acting as the
father figure in that household. Not only that, but he also had
the responsibility of performing the Priestly role in the
household, looking after the Spiritual health of the family. He
had to teach the family the ways of YHVH, that was handed down from his
father who received it from his father and so on. This was the way YHVH
preserved and transferred His Word, the faith as well as the Covenant to the
generations (taldot) to come.
The firstborn had the responsibility to provide animals to perform all the
sacrifices on behalf of the family. He had to literally act as a Priest for his
household which made him the spiritual leader. Later on in Scripture, we read
that all the Tribes except Levi sinned, bowing down to the Golden Calf and
YHVH stripped all the Tribes from all their firstborn priestly responsibilities
within every family, and gave it to Levi. Levi became the Tribe of Priests who
fulfilled and facilitated the duties of the firstborn and received the birthright of
every Tribe, just like Jacob did. Jacob was not the firstborn, but YHVH allowed
the birthright to go to Jacob because of Esaus character that was not suited,
and Jacobs character that was.
Esau did not want the spiritual responsibility, only physical material blessings
that were part of the birthright, because of his fleshiness. Esau was willing to sell
and Jacob was willing to buy or take on the responsibilities of the firstborn.

Blessings and the Birthright

The Hebrew word for Birthright is becor rkb that is also
translated as firstborn and is made up of the letters bet b
kaf k resh r - that has numerical values 2 20 200
respectively. If we reverse the kaf k and resh r, it makes
the word berach ;rb that means blessing.

There is a relationship between these letters, all connected to

the number 2, and has to do with two-ness or duality that we find in YHVHs
creation. Not only that, the number 2 means restoration of relationships that
leads back to becoming one or echad again. The word for two is shanaim
,yns that sound similar to the word shamayim ,yms that means heavens,
that were established on day two after the separation of the waters above and
the waters below (Water -mayim ,ym). It is fascinating to see how the words
are interweaved and related. The separation of the waters from the waters will
be united again when YHVH comes down from the heavens to establish His
presence on the earth, making them echad or one again.

8
In the same way is He in the process of reuniting man with Himself again, using
the same separation creation process in you, living in a world of duality, so that
you can be restored to a world of singularity with Him again.
Personal Application: When YHVH blesses someone, it means that He is
committed to that person to complete the separation process in them so that
they can become one with Him, restoring the relationship between them and
Himself. This means that you as a child of YHVH are blessed, and you will go
through further iterations of the creation process that He started so that you
can be made complete. The only thing about the creation process in you is
that it goes hand in hand with pain and is not a pleasant experience. You
need to allow Him to complete His work in you, and when you experience
pain in your life, know that He is shaping and forming you. Every loss you
experience in your life is refining you to be transformed into His image and
likeness.

Let's look a bit deeper at this word berach ;rb, through the meaning of each
of these letters; kaf k means palm of the hand, resh r means head or
leader and can also means human reasoning (that has a negative meaning or
warning). These two letters give us the picture of a hand upon the head. This
is a picture of the blessing of the firstborn being transferred on the head of
Jacob. Blessings and birthright go hand in hand, and His blessings are part of
the birthright, with the main purpose to take on the spiritual responsibilities of
the household through the Gifts of His Spirit in order to serve the Body of
Messiah. If you do not accept Yshua as the Messiah, you will not have the
hand on the head so to speak, and will not have the birthright of the firstborn
and will not fulfil a leadership role within the Body of Messiah as gifted through
the anointing of His Spirit.

The Purpose of Messiah

Q - I have always asked myself the question, why is it important to believe in the
Messiah, if you have the Torah (His Word) and believe and follow YHVH, you
will be ok, wouldnt you?
The main thing you must understand is why the concept of a
Messiah is necessary, surely faith can be without Him. The
main function of Messiah is to restore His Creation. Messiah or
Masiach xysm means anointed and is first found in Scripture
in Lev 4:3 where it refers to an anointed priest, if he sinned
according to, ashamah (unintentional sin guilt offering), the
sin of the people, he must bring a sin-offering. This means that
he is made guilty because of the sin of the people, and then he
must stand in for them, making a sin sacrifice on their behalf.
We saw this principle earlier when we looked at the two kings
who unintendedly sinned because they took a bride unto
themselves, they were guilty and needed an asham or guilt
offering because of the sin of Abraham. If we see the Kings as the Anointed
(masiach) Priest, who is guilty because of the sin of the people, He must then
bring an offering on their behalf. This confirms the covenant YHVH made with
Abraham that He made with Himself on behalf of man.

9
The picture here is that the King (Messiah) took a Bride, and this made Him
guilty of an ashamah (unintentional sin), and needed to pay by means of a sin
offering. This is the main reason why Messiah exist and fulfil this main purpose.
This is the first part of the work He (anointed Priest) must fulfil to take a Bride
unto Himself.
The second part of His work is found where the word masiach is first translated
in the context of the office of Messaih, Who is a Prince or King. This term is
first found in Scripture in Dan 9:25, that is a verse that forms part of the seventy-
week prophecy given to Daniel. The function or task the Messiah has to fulfil is
to rebuild the city of Jerusalem, to build the street and the wall during
troubled times.
Street is the word rachab bxr that means large wide,
broad and is associated with the story in Joshua 2 where
Rahab helped the spies prior to the destruction of
Jericho, prior to taking possession of the Promised Land.
This confirms the end time context that is associated with
troubled times or tribulation. The meaning of rachab
connects to the prophecy in Isa 52 regarding the
fulfilment of the promise YHVH made to Abraham, that
he will be the father of many nations:
Isa 52:1-3 Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child;
Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not
travailed; For the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous than the
sons of the married woman," says YHVH. 2"Enlarge (rachab) the place of
your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; Lengthen
your cords And strengthen your pegs. 3"For you will spread abroad to the
right and to the left. And your descendants will possess nations and will
resettle the desolate cities.
This implies that the street in Jerusalem relates to the nations that will come in
through the anointing or Messiah as promised to Abraham.
Wall is the word churats /vrx that means, dug
trench, gold (mined), sharp, threshing instrument,
strict decision. This word is first used in Scripture in
Job 41:30 where it describes the beast from the sea
called the Leviathan and in chapter 40 YHVH
describes the Behemoth (description of dinosaur)
both creatures reveals YHVHs power and that man
cannot save himself from these creatures, let alone
withstand the judgement of YHVH. This shows us that being inside the walls of
Jerusalem, constructed by Messiah, is the only way to escape the judgement of
Messiah. This is another primary function of the anointing or Messiah; to save
man from His judgement and to judge, that is to separate, recreate and unite, to
restore His creation.
Q How do I ensure I am inside the walls of the City, walking on its streets?
Since both are connected to Messiah, you can only ensure your safety if you are
found in Him, in the City He is rebuilding.

10
The City represents the Household of YHVH, and its walls and street have to do
with the final work of Messiah when the time of trouble or judgement comes. We
are not there yet but need to prepare for this time that is inevitable. Your
preparation is linked to the first work the Messiah; the Anointed Priest.
Have we experienced this time of His first works? Our Jewish brothers do not
believe that Messiah has come and still awaits His first work of restoration to be
done. Christians, on the other hand, believe the Messiah has come and
completed the first part of His restoration. What do you believe? If you believe it
is done, then you will identify with Yshua (Jesus) as the Messiah. If not, then
you must wait for the first work of Messiah to be fulfilled, the sacrificial work of
the Anointed Priest, that is established with the Covenant YHVH made with
Abraham. If the Messiah comes to do the second part of His work and you still
awaits the first, then you are caught out and will not be ready to receive the
second part of His restoration process in your life.
The actual question you need to answer is, how will the Messiah manifest
Himself if He is to come within your lifetime? Remember the purpose of the first
work of the Messiah is to enable Him to choose a Bride unto Himself. The
second part of the work of Messiah has to do with the final gathering of His
Bride. This goes hand in hand with His Judgement, where He will come as the
Prince rebuilding Jerusalem with its streets and walls. The Bride is just another
term for restored humanity, being restored to the state that Adam exist in
before sin. Where are you in the restoration process and will you be bride
material so that He will be able to identify you, just like Eliezer recognised
Rebekah as the Bride of the Master as we saw in last
weeks study?

Opposing Generations
This week we are looking at the history of Isaac, that is
toldot or generations, that came through his two sons
Jacob and Esau.

The word toldot tvdlvt has mirrored letters with a

tav t at the beginning and the end, as well as a vav v as the second and
second last letter, leaving the lamed-dalet dl right in the middle. This makes
the word lod, first found in Scripture in 1 Chr 8:12 where it name the people
who build two towns, Ono and Lod. This links up with Isaacs generations, Jacob
and Esau, one represented by Lod and the other by Ono.
Lod dl means, nativity and generation, that is associated with Jacob, who was
an indoor man, helping his mother around the house. Jacob, as we know,
carried the seed of Messiah, that is confirmed by the meanings of Lod; nativity
(birth of Messiah) through his generations (Israel).
Ono vna means, vigorous, a city in Benyamin and a valley of craftsmen. Ono
relates more to the character of Esau, the man of the field, a vigorous (strong,
forceful) man who is well skilled as a hunter (craftsman).

11
The tav-vav vt combination on either side of the word taldot, makes the word
tav that comes from the root word tavah that means scratch or imprint, mark,
mark on the forehead.
This word is first found in Scripture in 1 Sam 21:13 where David fled from king
Saul who wanted to kill him. David acted like a madman before Achish, the king
of Gath, scratching on the gates, to escape. Achish syka means, I will
blacken, I will terrify, only a man. David got hold of the sword of Goliath and
gathered 400 men (tav=400), together with himself, totalled 401, the number
that represents the Aleph-Tav ta or Messiah.
Prophetic Insight: In conclusion, the tav vt on the right side, at the
beginning of the word taldot, represents the Messiahs protection (sword),
as well as the mark on the forehead. The tav tv on the left side (mirror
image), at the end of the word taldot, represents enemy, king Achish,
represents man under control of the enemy, recruiting people (blackening
them), through fear and terror. Achish is associated with the mark on the
gates as well.
We have twin brothers, Jacob and Esau, two towns, Lod and Ono, two kings,
David and an enemy king, represented by Achish as well as Saul (external
and internal enemy).
Esau Ono mark on gates Saul vigorous craftsman - Achish
Jacob Lod mark on foreheads David nativity - Messiah
One of the meanings of tavah, the root word of tav, is the mark on the
forehead that is contrasted with the storys mark on the gates, that is associated
with Saul, who was from the tribe of Benyamin, that links to Ono (a city in
Benyamin).
The two marks are found in the Book of Revelation; one is from Messiah, and
the other is from the Anti-Messiah.
Rev 22:4 They will see His face, and His name will be on their
foreheads.
This mark will be the name of Messiah that will be on the foreheads of the
Bride, or His restored people, and the mark on the gate corresponds with
the mark of the Beast System that will be on the foreheads of his followers.
Rev 13:16-17 And the second beast required all people small and
great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their
right hand or on their forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell
unless he had the mark the name of the Beast or the number of
its name.
Another fascinating aspect is that the verse where Lod
and Ono are mentioned for the second time in Scripture
is in Ezra 2:33, where the people of Israel came out from
Babylonian captivity, returning to Jerusalem. There were
three groups under Lod, Ono and Hadid, totalling 725
men. Hadid means rejoicing and we already know that
Lod represents Jacob and Ono describes Esau. The
gematria of the number 725 has the following meanings;

12
I will spoil, contempt (dislike), trust, hope, act as Priest, chief and ruler.
Prophetic Insight: We can see from these meanings that there was enmity
or contempt between Lod and Ono, but changed to joy and rejoicing (Hadid)
at the time when the captivity ends. The Priest and Ruler (King), who is none
other than Yshua the Messiah, will bring hope and faith to the people, and
they will rejoice as they enter Jerusalem, (rebuild by Messiah the King).
The contempt began in the Garden between the seed of the woman (Adam /
man), and the seed of the Serpent who infiltrated and influenced humanity, to
oppose and stop the Seed of the woman (Messiah) to come and restore His
fallen creation, as discussed in the previous section. This force manifested in
the Garden and later on in Esau, then through Saul and at the end will manifest
in Achish, who is a picture of the Anti-Messiah.
On the other side, we have the seed of the Woman in the Garden, and the
generations taldot came through Abraham, Isaac and then Jacob. This seed
then moved through his generations to King David and then Messiah Yshua.
We are currently right in the middle of the two comings of Messiah, where we
encountered Him and the Anointed Priest, and now awaits Him as the Judge
and King, the builder of Jerusalem. Before His second coming is the time of
captivity, as prophetically revealed in Ezra 2, where humanity is captive in
Babylon. We tend to think that Babylon is the system that will entrap people,
but the scary thing is, that we are already trapped and awaits Messiahs coming
to set us free. When Messiah comes, He will take us out of Babylon and lead us
back to Jerusalem (New Jerusalem). This is why many followers of Messiah still
suffer all kinds of issues like oppression, sickness and persecution.
What about the verse that said that Yshua came to set the captives free and
that we already are seated with Messiah in the heavenly (Eph 2:6)?
Eph 2:1-7 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and
sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world,
according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works
in the sons of disobedience,3 among whom also we all once conducted
ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of
the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. 4 But
God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved
us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with
Messiah (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and
made us sit together in the heavenly places in Messiah Yshua, 7 that in the
ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace
in His kindness toward us in Messiah Yshua.
We see the two opposing forces, the one from the seed of the Serpent,
referred here as the prince of the power of the air who is a spirit that causes
disobedience, sin and fleshiness and yestser harah, evil thoughts (desires
of the mind). On the other hand you have the positive power that comes from
YHVH through the work of Messiah Yshua, the One who gives us life,
raising us up (G4891 - synegeir - to be raised from moral death, with
someone), to be seated (G4776 sygkathiz - to be seated, with
someone) in the heavenly (G2032 epouranios sanctuary, the seat of
order of things eternal, where things are perfect ) in Messiah.

13
This means that we rise to a higher state, a new nature if you will, that is alive
to the heavenly things, where things are perfect, according to YHVHs
standards, where we are dead to the worldly physical things.
This heavenly state is not the heavenly physical realm where YHVH is. The
word places is in italics and not in the original Greek (made grey in verse).
Heavenly represents the new state or nature you come into when you
accept Messiah after He resurrects you with the power of His Spirit.
This is confirmed in 1 Cor 15:49 where Paul describe that we were born from
the image of the earthly, but are born from the image of the heavenly. The
word image also means likeness, and the one in whom the likeness of
anyone is seen. The image of the heavenly is none other than the Image
of Messiah in Whos likeness we will be. To be seated with Him in the
heavenly, means that we are resurrected in His nature, walking in His
likeness, representing Him here on earth till He comes.
We are in the process of being restored, this process is not complete yet and
will be finalised after His second coming. We are currently in the process of
learning to walk in the heavenly likeness of Messiah, but we are still
entrapped in this physical world with its limitations and opposing forces. We
are physically trapped within Babylon until Messiah comes.
To be free is to be in the Promised Land, in the New Jerusalem, where we
will be where Messiah is, physically seated with Him at the banquet table, at
the wedding table with the Bride (His restored people).
