INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND
The plan should guide the LEAs use of education technology for the next three
years.

List specific start and end dates (7/1/xx to 6/30/xx). Provide a brief overview of
the LEA, its location and demographics and/or share a link to the LEAs website.

LEA brief overview of the LEA:
The plan is bee developed by our school principal and other administration, where they
were looking for more efficient way to improve the education in our campus, so we
provide 2 computer labs for the different level of middle and elementary classes, so
many different technology around the whole campus for all teachers and students.
Location:
Our campus located In Houston TX very close to the medical center which is reachable
for everyone.
Its a very nice building big, organized, and full with arts around the building.
The majority of the students are African American and Hispanic.

Summarize the relevant research and describe how it supports the plan's
curricular and professional development goals.
The main goal from this research is to show everyone why and how we use
technology in our daily life, house, office, school, and classroom.
With internet and technology you will be able to connect with everyone around
the world, plus as students and parents its help you to be connected to teachers,
assignment and homework through the data base.
So basically with no technology it will be way too hard to have all the opportunity
to even have a distance education, this huge technology is what is the future
about,.
CURRICULUM COMPONENT CRITERIA.
The Plan must establish clear goals and realistic strategy for using
telecommunications and information technology to improve education services.

Describe teachers' current access to instructional technology and current use of


digital tools.
Projectors, smartbord, security camera, computers, iPad for elementary students,
chroombooks, 2 separate computer labs for elementary and middle school, and
also schools provide iPhone for teacher to have contact with parents other than
using their private number.

Describe students' current access to instructional technology and current use of


digital tools. Include a description about the LEA policy, practices, and/or
replacement policy that ensures equitable technology access for all students.
The students have so many different technology access, they are using
Chromebook for each section, Ipads, computer labs, they are working on
different technology educational website that the school purchase for them
such as reading eggs for k-2, istation, reasoning mind for math, Aleks, map
test, all these technology activity are provided for our students to improve
their education skills in different subject.

Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, for using
technology to improve teaching and learning. Describe how these goals align to
the LEA's curricular goals that are supported by other plans. Describe how the
LEA's budget (LCAP) supports these goals, and whether future funding
proposals or partnerships may be needed for successful implementation.
. What are the LEAs curriculum goals and plans for assisting
students to meet technology literacy and information skills?
The goal from implementing curriculum is to have a basics foundation that
the teachers use to create her lessons, for my campus it is provided from the
main office where all the curriculum coaches are working, and all the
teachers should follow it for the whole year.
What LEA adopted curriculum supports the acquisition of technology
and information literacy skills?
There are many LEA provided for technology classes that is been purchased
by the school district or the campus, as a technology application teacher I
find what I feel it could help my students and request it from the school after
try it with the trail version.

Internet Safety and the appropriate and ethical use of technology in the
classroom.

What LEA board policies will be or have been developed to implement Internet
safety instruction?
All staff and students should be aware of the internet policy
and the rules of using it, for my students the first course I
teach is how use it proficiently and effectively for the
educational needs only! By using some online courses, Also the
staff need to know how to be efficient how to use it

How are students using online communication technologies, including


but not limited to social networking and instant messaging?

I my campus HSART and all the harmony campuses are providing email
accounts to their students, they will be able to communicate with their teacher
and also parents will be able to login online to the school data base to check the
students work and grades and attendance.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMPONENT
The Plan must have a professional development strategy to ensure that staff
understands how to use these new technologies to improve education services
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Summary of the teachers' and administrators' current technology proficiency and


integration skills and needs for professional development.
Are administrators able to support teachers with the integration of technology into
daily curriculum?
For sure the administrator support their staff with the integration of technology by
providing PD for all teachers, in each PD there is a session for the important of using
technology in their daily lessons.

What professional learning will be available so teachers and administrators can


make informed decisions using data to meet individual student academic needs?
There are so many ways to check on the students level and grades, there is
MAP testing at the begging of the year to check on the students level, and it
has their online grades, also so many only assessment that teachers provide
for the students, and communicate with parents about it.

Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, for providing
professional development opportunities based on your LEA needs assessment
data and the Curriculum Component of the plan.
. How will teachers and administrators be trained and provided ongoing support in
the effective integration of technology into curriculum?
All teachers and admin will receive so many different PD throw-out the year, during
these PD they will receive training depend on their subject, including any new software
required by their subject such as learing.com, ALES,i station ect

INFRASTRUCTURE, HARDWARE, TECHNICAL SUPPORT, SOFTWARE, AND


ASSET MANAGEMENT COMPONENT CRITERIA
The Plan must include an assessment of the telecommunication services,
hardware, software, asset management, and other services that will be needed to
improve education services.

Describe the existing hardware, Internet access, electronic learning resources,


technical support, and asset management already in the LEA that will be used to
support the Curriculum and Professional Development Components of the plan.

What hardware/infrastructure currently exists at each school site?


There is different kind of hardware and software for each school, nut overall most
school should have Laptops, I pads, Chromebook and all these need technical
maintenance through the year.

. What technology access do parents have at home? What technologies do


parents prefer for home/school communication?
For our school system our parents have access to the system through their smartphone or
ipads, computers depend on whatever available for them, they are happy with this
technologies communication that makes it so easy for them to check their kids
homework, grades, attendance, behavior points, and also communicate with the teachers
and write notes for each other on the system.
Describe the technology hardware, electronic learning resources, networking and
telecommunications infrastructure, physical plant modifications, technical
support, and asset management needed by the LEA's teachers, students, and
administrators to support the activities in the Curriculum and Professional
Development components of the plan.

What emerging technologies could be used to implement the plans goals?


Our main subject coach provide the curriculum on the school system, so the teachers
can access to it online and prepare their lesson according to the curriculum that the
central office provided.

What technologies will teachers and administrators need to successfully


implement the plans goals and benchmarks?

The teachers need scanner to scan the answers after the students finish their test,
printers, copier as well and all these technologies devices need to be a specific type
to give a good service for the teachers.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION COMPONENT


The plan must include an evaluation process that enables the school to monitor
progress toward the specific goals and make mid-course corrections in response
to new developments and opportunities as they arise.

Describe the process for evaluating the plan's overall progress and impact on
teaching and learning.

Who will participate in the monitoring and evaluation process?


The principal and his assistance team in the campus.

Who will oversee the data collection, analysis, and program modification
process?
The IT in the campus, then his turn to notify the head department and the central
office.

Describe the schedule for evaluating the effect of plan implementation, including
a description of the process and frequency of communicating evaluation results
to tech plan stakeholders.
. How often will data be collected and summarized? Who is responsible?
Data Collection will be done in both campus level and in district level. Dean of
Academics will be in charge of collecting data every 9 weeks for the school. Data analyst
of the district will be in charge of collecting data for the whole district. It will be
summarized by the data analyst.

How often will the status of plan implementation be reported


to the
LEA superintendent and the stakeholders?
Although this technology plan has been designed for 3 years, status of plan
implementation will be reported yearly.
