Students will be able to solve problem questions.


Students will be able to polyas model of problem solving 1. Understand the problem. 2.
Devise a plan for solving it. 3. Carry out your plan. And 4. Look back to examine your
solution.

Students will able to add two or three digit number.


Students will able to add ones with ones.

Students will able to add tens with regroup.

In the book page 203-204 they Have two examples and explained the four steps" to polyas model
of problem solving" which are: 1. Understand the problem. 2. Devise a plan for solving it. 3.
Carry out your plan. And 4. Look back to examine your solution. ( for the teacher, teacher will
explain it on the bored)
In the book page 205-206 they will have an exercise, 6 problem solving questions.
In the box "challenge box":
Inside it there is problem solving questions. Also there is some reword inside that students can
pick a paper that has no question, it has a gift.
Balloons, pensile, pen box, skipping rope, clothes rope, claps, cubes, shellfish.

- Some of them know how to add two numbers.
Possible Problems Misconceptions :
- students dont know how to read the qustions.
- They may add ones with tens.
- students dont know how to read the questions.
- They may not do a regroup. That adds the regroup with tens.

They may not write regroup. They will write whole number down with ones.

They may do subtraction not addition.


Solutions for the Possible Problems:
Read for them the question in louse voice put it on the pored.

- Make shore and write ones under ones and tens under tens.
- Write the regroup above the tens.

questions which is 43+49=. After that I will let one student to come and solve
one on the bored.

Solve with them two or three example then let students help me to solve
the question, and then let them try on the bored. For example:
Shaikha has 10 blue balloons, and her friend Shama has 10 red ballons.
How many balloons are all?
First they will put a line under balloons and circle under the number.
Then they will write ones under ones and tens under tens with
additions, then start solve it. ( there is in the PowerPoint more
questions)
There is one question that I will let two students jump skipping rope.

Inside the box there are 6 problems solving questions and 4 paper gifts. Gifts
like "you will got one dirhams, you will get two stars" or if its a question she
will solve it one the bored. And if I want to make it real challenge I will let two
students to come and do it in the same time and see how wen.
