irst, Id like to thank God Almighty for this opportunity to worship through song again. My journey since our last
conversation has been a story that must be told only through the power of music for right now. It has titled
this album, A Different Place. For enabling this journey for success, Id like to thank my son Christian for his
strength, spirit, and patience that produced the love that I needed to endure. To my family, father Julius Burrell Jr.,
sisters Kathy and Karen, my brothers Kevin and Dwayne and all of my extended family and my precious grandmother Flossie Mae Fletcher Burns. You all are the glue to my life. I thank Asaph Alex Ward for being the listener of my heart, head, and moments that repeatedly demand his talents to produce me. To Danny Weiss and
