Essential question: Does air pollution affect climate change?

Working thesis: Air pollution and other man made gases affect climate change
Refined thesis: Air pollution harm the ozone layer of the earth and affect the temperature also
causing natural disaster.
Climate change is a big problem not only in the united states but all around the world
too. There are many problems with climate change and there are a lot of things that affect it as
well. With climate changing there are also a lot of problems that come with it, some problems are
how air pollution and man made gases affect climate change, temperature getting warmer, and
water levels rising.
Air pollution changes the earth's climate but not all types of air pollution have the same
effect. There are many different types of air pollution some types cause global warming to speed
up. Others cause global warming to slow down by creating a temporary cooling effect for a few
days or weeks .Air pollution includes greenhouse gases One of these is carbon dioxide, a
common part of the exhaust from cars and trucks. Greenhouse gases cause global warming by
trapping heat from the sun in the Earths atmosphere. Greenhouse gases are a natural part of
Earths atmosphere, but in the last 150 years or so, the amount in our atmosphere has increased.

Another problem with climate change is the rise of sea levels, Over the past century, the
burning of fossil fuels and other human and natural activities has released enormous amounts of
heat-trapping gases into the atmosphere. When water heats up, it expands. About half of the past
century's rise in sea level is attributable to warmer oceans simply occupying more space. Large
ice formations, like glaciers and the polar ice caps, naturally melt back a bit each summer, When
large storms hit land, higher sea levels mean bigger, more powerful storm surges that can strip
away everything in their path.
These two problems all affect climate change and things are just going to get worse it
people dont take percussion. Scientist and environmentalists are trying to find new ways to help
and prevent climate change. but there will continue to be no effective policy or warnings until
scientists find more evidence or reasons. There are still a lot of organizations that try and help
out with giving out awareness and supporting government change.
