Prior Knowledge (What knowledge are you building in?)


The students have a previous knowledge about the transport vocabulary
that related to Getting Around unit such as; jeepney, rickshaw, tuk tuk ,
tram, bus, car, sky train and ferry. Moreover, pupils have a background
about how to use these words in sentences. For instance, I get to school
by jeepney This lesson will identify to learners how to use the map
direction while riding these transports.
Lesson Objectives: (What will students be able to do by the end
of the lesson?)

relevant, timely)
- By the end of the lesson students will be able to :

Recognize the new vocabulary of the lesson. For example,


towards, from, right, left, up, down, go out and turn
left/right.
Give direction to places of interest using a local map.
Complete written direction using prepositions of direction.
Evaluation / Assessment: (How will you know your students have
achieved the goal?)
