Baltimores Original Music Magazines

Baltimore, MD, December 06, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Shockwave Partners, LLC, a Baltimore, Maryland
based company, announced today that it has acquired Shockwave Magazine, one of the foremost media
outlets serving the music community throughout North America and the world.
Shockwave Magazine has been providing the latest news in rock music for over 25 years. Founded in
1989, Shockwave grew from promoting local acts in Baltimore, to covering the biggest names in the
music industry. Seasoned reporter Michael McGeehan joined Shockwave Magazine in 2012, bringing
first-hand accounts of local shows to its readership. In 2016, Michael was promoted to Managing Editor,
Baltimore. His focus is maintaining the heart and soul of Shockwave Magazine through relationships with
the community and bands. Robin Ervolina joined the ranks in 2015. During her tenure, Robin expanded
the magazine's coverage area and established reporters and photographers throughout the U.S. Robin
currently serves as Editor-in-Chief and spearheads Shockwave's online presence at
www.shockwavemagazine.com. In 2016 Shockwave Magazine acquired photographer and business
manager Thomas Rudzki. Combining over 35 years of photography and business relationship with major
retail and food service companies, Tom's unique expertise has strengthened the company's ties to the
Baltimore music community and identified potential areas of growth nationwide.
Through a shared love of music and dedication to Shockwave Magazine, a strong working partnership
emerged between McGeehan, Ervolina, and Rudzki. In November of 2016, Shockwave Partners, LLC
was formed for the purpose of acquiring and operating Shockwave Magazine.
Shockwave Magazine is an multi-media music outlet with offices in Baltimore, MD and Fort Lauderdale,
FL and coverage worldwide.
