Scribblar
https://scribblar.com
When you go to scribbler.com, you can start a free/basic
account. Once you have created your account, on the left
hand side of the page, you can either click on create a
room or click on the hyperlink if you were sent a link to
join an already created room. Once you are in your room,
the communication box with the choice of audio, video
chatting, or just text is on the right hand side. All of the
editing tools are across the top and on the right hand side
of the writing space. To add text to your workspace, you
can click on the A on the right hand side. You can also
use the highlighter tool or the pencil tool to hand write
what you need or to draw.
I think that because this site is so basic, I think it would be
most beneficial for the mid-level students, probably
grades second through seventh.
Second grade; History and Social Science 2.7
-The students can create a mind map with what they think
natural resources are, why they are important, and what
they think would happen if we ran out of natural
resourses.
Fourth grade; Visual Arts 4.19
-The students could collaborate and make a list using the
text tools on all of the different meanings a specific
artwork can have.

Fifth grade; Science 5.5a

-The students could work in pairs or small groups and draw
a cell using the pencil, marker, or paint tools. They would
including all of its componants, then label each
component and describe its basic function using the
textbox tools.
Positives: 1. The website is simple, which made it really
easy to create an account. 2. There is a chat bar on the
right hand side of the page; you can either type or use
audio. 3. You can have up to three rooms saved at a time.
4. It lets you take snapshots of your screen that you can
download and save.
Negatives: 1. The website runs kind of slow with only one
user, so it probably runs even slower with the more users
that are logged in. 2. I did not see anywhere that you
could upload a document as a starting point. 3. Since the
website is so basic, you can only use the basic editing
tools, similar to the basic version of Microsoft Paint. 4. If
you only use the basic account, which is free, you can only
have three users per room.

New users get started now. The student will be
asked to provide their name and an email address.
Once created, a conformation email will be sent to
the email address given.
4. Once confirmed, the student can start to use the
tools. On the left hand side of the page, there is a
toolbar labeled groups, this is where the student
can create a new wiggio email address.
5. Once the group is created, you can click on the
add new members button.
6. After everyone is added to the group, each member
can choose how they would like to be notified when
something in the group changes.
7. Across the top of the page, there are three tabs;
Feed, Folder, and Calandar. These are the tabs that
the students use to navigate through the page.
1. World History II; 3
The students can upload their own document that
consists of a significant person or event from the
Reformation period. Once all of the students have
uploaded their documents, the class can peer edit
each others work and provide feedback. After all of
the students have corrected their documents, each
final page can be put in order to make one final
project. All of the documents can be turned into a
classroom textbook.
2. This could be used for multiple SOLs
The students could sign into a class Wiggio and
someone can post notes from that class period,
that way if anyone missed class or someone did not
understand something, they can go back and look
at it.
3. World History II; 10
The students could be assigned a topic related to
World War 1, and create a Wiggio to use as a
discussion thread. They could respond by text,
voice, or video.
Positive: 1. You can schedule conference calls or chat
groups. 2. You can upload assignments. 3. It is a free
website. 4. It gives the user more than five ways to
collaborate.
Negative: 1. An email address is required. 2. It is not
designed for school specifically. 3. One person has to
create it before others can use.
