Describe the instructional activities that will occur prior to the SRS activity and how you will
introduce the SRS activity: I would go over the lesson in class and then I would have the students take the
quiz as a pre-test to prepare for the actual test later on. I would also provide some other learning tools, like
flashcards on Quizlet.

Provide samples of questions/prompts to be given to students:

7. Is this a picture of a solid, liquid, or gas? (Water Vapor) A- Solid B- Liquid C- Gas
8. Water can change to different states of matter A- True B- False
Right/Wrong Answers: Will there be right/wrong answers to these questions? Yes
Mixed (Some will have correct answers, others will not.)

No

Immediate corrective feedback:

Will you pre-select correct answers to some or all of the questions and display correct response to the
class after the SRS activity? Yes No
Why or why not? This way the students what the content they struggled with and I do too so I can better
teach them.
Use of data: The only data being collected is the anonymous results for the quiz. I will discuss the results
with my students only, so that I get a better understanding of where the class is as a whole. Later on, more
individualistic approaches can be taken to prepare for the test. Since this is more of indication of where the
students are, no grade will be given and it is anonymous.
Describe what will occur after the SRS activity: I will look at the anonymous results and decide if we
need to spend more time on the content or not.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity: I hope to create an activity to directly benefit my
students. I want to be able to better serve them and the needs of the class
