Group lesson plan about World War two, what roles did the
countries involved play during the war? What was the major
reason the war started and what ended the war?

Each Student/Group will be assigned a specific battle from


World War II. You will research the battle using your textbook
and the Media Center. You will be required to answer specific
questions and then present your finding to your classmates. You
will be allowed to work with one other person on this. After the
presentations, you will be quizzed on the information supplied
by your classmates. You will be required to type out your
information and hand it in the day of your presentation so make
sure you have a copy for you and your partner to use during
your presentation to the class.

1. You need to use at least two sources for this project.


2. A work cited page will be collected by the Media Center
and will count as part of your project grade Presentations
should be between 4 and 5 minutes.
3. Before you start your presentation you will be required to
point out on the classroom map where your specific
battle is taking place
4. You need to supply one visual aid to show to the class
pertaining to your assigned battlebe creativesince we
already completed a map activity and we are using the
classroom map.
5. You need to supply a typed copy of your notes to teacher
by the end of the presentation

Student will need to use video editing resources. They will need
Computer with Internet if they do not have internet at home
they can go to library for computer services. Students could

watch videos about world war 2, or read books about the war.

- T.V. with Dvd player to watch movies on world war 2.

Procedure

1.In groups students will write or explain what they know about
the battle they are writing about.
2. They will also have to research what countries were involved
in that battle and who won the battle.
3.They will have to show the images of where the battle was
fought in what country and what year
.4. They will explain the reason why that battle was fought in
that area, and have images on video of before and after the
battle pictures.
5.Students will then ask the class what they know about world
war two and if anyone they knew fought in the war or if they
have any images to show the class.
6. Students in the group will turn in to teacher copy of their
notes by end of presentation.
