UR CHOICE GARMENTS

This plan is all about our business which we are going to start for the
requirement of our course subject ENTREPRENUERSHIP. This plan includes
all the activities which we will perform for conducting our business. the
products we are offering , how analyze the market, manufactured products,
analyze our business, location of our business, ways of advertisement,
expected income statement, breakeven analysis and all the activities of our
business.
The problem of our business may be competitors in the market of our
products, which can divert our sales by offering the same products. But we
can overcome them by competing with low prices and quality products.
Our group contributed Rs 32000 for the initialization of this business. At
last we hope we can conduct this business as we think or made plan and will
earn profit.

The project we are talking about is the requirement of our subject entrepreneurship with
the name of your choice garments.
We are providing different products in this .the uniqueness in these products is that,
university LOGOS will be printed on them .we are offering these products keeping in view
the buying power of our customers and will use pricing techniques in order to capture the
market share. These products are totally for the students and staff of the university .this
project is totally funded by our own resources.

2.1. BUSINESS DESCRIPTION:

We decided to invest by our own resources and according to our estimate we


need approximately Rs, 32000 for our project.
Our business falls in garment industry and some of our products are comes in
stationary items.
Our business is a new and it is a retail business .it is run by a group of 8
members
We will sell our products by direct selling to our customers, the uniqueness in our
products is that, university LOGOS will be printed on them, which made our
product unique and we can capture the large market share. Our target will be
students and teachers of the university.

buy or not because these are not that much costly. This business activity is

going to be very helpful in getting a huge experience and market exposure. It


will give us a clear idea about he future prospects that we should continue
with the same product, strategies, suppliers, product line and all this will be
cleared after being exercising all these step and process mentioned above
and the success of this business opportunity can lead to a large scale
business operation in the coming future.
This was a detailed description of our business that will be carried on in
coming future and all the aspect in starting up the business from its origin and
concept to the physical existence are mentioned in this part of the business
plan. Including the product line, location, process and procedure and all the
essentials of this business activity are mentioned clearly and definitely to

Market strategy plays very important role for the business. A person who is starting the

market and position in the market for his product. if the person who is going to start his
business will not be capable of all the qualities or has not any knowledge of market his
business will be failed.
3.1. MARKET SIZE:
Market size also has very much importance for the growth of the business. As the market
size will be wider, the business will has more chances to grow, to earn profit or to make its
position in the market. But on the other hand there will be also threat of competitors
existing in the market.
When we search in the market for opportunity of our products, we find it very interesting
that there is no considerable competitor for these type of products currently present in the
market, and market for these type of products are also very high.

The structure of the business that we have selected for our business activity
is retailed outlet of our products like T shirts, trousers, key chains, ball pens,
ribbons. The products which we have selected for our business activity is

Keeping in view and by having strong observation on the market, we have seen that
products following different styles are more successful than other. So, we have decided to
follow these trends as well. The uniqueness in our style is university LOGOS.
3.5. MARKET NEEDS:
As all of us are well aware that market needs are expanding day by day. We have come to
know this through our market research.
We search the market and come to know that most of the stalls in the university are of
food and drinks and of simple garments. But the students want something new. Then we
decided to enter in to the market with unique things. We gathered information and come to
know about after talking with some students that there is a need of some special items
with Logos printed on them.
3.6. PROJECTING MARKET SHARE:
Market share of our product is much wider .in first step we will capture the market of our
own university and with the passage of time we will expand our business to different
universities of Rawalpindi Islamabad and after that we can expand it into different
universities of different cities.
3.7. TARGET MARKETING:
UR choice garment will target its market into three segments.
STUDENTS: students are the main source of our sales. They will contribute approximately
80% of sales.
TEACHERS: 10% of our sales will be to teachers.
STAFF: staff will also contribute in our sales approximately 10%.
UR CHOICE GARMENTS will target each of the three groups separately. The students will
be targeted by offering T shirts, trousers, key chains, ribbons and ball pens. While
teachers and staff will be offered key chains, ribbons and ball pens.

3.8. POSITIONING OUR BUSINESS:


As by our research we find that there is no competitor present in the market for these
types of products. So we can position our product successfully.
Our product has a unique feature of university LOGO printed on products.
It also fulfills the need of our customer because they want this type of product.

3.9. MARKETING MIX:


3.9.1. PRICING:
Price plays an important role for the sale of products. When setting a price a person
should be very careful .because the sale of products depends on the reasonability of its
price. so when setting the price business should keep in mind its target market and also
the buying power of targeted segment.
We will charge prices by keeping in view the buying power of the students. We will not
charge much price for our products.
3.9.2. DISCOUNT PRICES:
We provide a discount on package deals in order to attract the customers. In this way we
will increase our sale.
3.9.3. DISTRIBUTION:
For the distribution of our product we use our own outlets in the universities. Because the
direct sale is most effective channel of distribution.

strategies also play a vital role. In todays competitive market good promotion
and advertisement techniques are very much needed. We are planning to
promote our business by using banners and hand bills. As youth are our
target market so we are also planning to deliver our message by selling out
the tickets, that gives necessary information to the youth about what the
products we are offering and what the value they can get by visiting our
business location .In this way we are also hoping to attract a good number of
customers and gain a competitive advantage. That is necessary to maintain in
the market.

If we go for the competitive analysis of our business we have to look our
competitors. By doing competitive analysis of our business we are able to find
the strengths and weaknesses of our competitors. As our business plan is of
selling the items which are very popular in young generation. When we look
into competitors in our immediate market we find that they are focusing on
simple garments or on food items but no one are focusing on products which
we are going to introduce. Very few people come there to buy food items or
other things. The main theme of our business is to actually facilitate our
customers and fulfill there certain demands. By doing this we hope to attract
more customers then our competitors who are selling these different items. .
we expect to get a good market share for our products. Another competitive
advantage with us is our cost. We are competing on cost in the market. The
products our competitors are offering are of very high cost, as we are
purchasing on low rates from our supplier so we will be able to sell our
products at relatively lower rates then the market. This is the way we can
attract the price sensitive customers as well, without much compromise on
quality.

can know our strength, weakness, opportunities and threats present in the
market. By conducting a proper SWOT analysis we can make strategies to

When we search in the university we find that students wants shirts and other
products with university logos printed on them, and there is no one who is

focusing on this opportunity. We also find that in market there is also no


competitor. So we decided to avail this opportunity.

Due to uniqueness price may becomes high to some extent.

5. DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN:


Design and development plan is a key determinant for the success of any
business. Technology is changing day by day so every business has to focus
on development of its product by introducing new styles and design with the
passage of time in order to compete in the market.
5.1. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT:
We will focus on our products and bring uniqueness in its design and style
with passage of time. We will also focus on quality of our product in order to
attract our customers and to survive in the market for long run. . Our product
carries a charm and his demand in the young generation so our goal is to
attract as much customers as we can though offering the products that satisfy
their wants.
When we review our products we see our products are such that can attract a
potential market. Our products fulfills all the requirements to attract a good
number of customers relatively lower in cost and having a very much need

6. OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT PLAN:


Management plan is the basic reason for the success of a certain business.
How much the management is efficient? And how efficiently and effectively
they perform all the tasks and operations of the business? It all matters a lot.
The management should be capable of performing all the tasks of accounts,
finance, sales and marketing. Management should be able to take right
decision at right time according to the goals and objectives of the
organization. This can only be done if there is a competent team and a cause
for the profit is hard working and devoted management and operating team. A
team work is required towards achieving the organizational goals and
objectives effectively and efficiently.
6.1. PRODUCTION:
We will get our products manufactured from different markets depending on
reasonability of prices. For this purpose we search different markets inside
and outside of the city and like Sialkot, Faisalabad, raja bazaar and sadar
Rawalpindi. Then we finally got T shirts from Faisalabad, trousers from
Sialkot, key chains, ribbons and ball pens from sadar and raja bazaar.
6.2. LOCATION:
Location also matters for the success of business. How easily customer can
access your outlet really matters. As our products are totally for the students,
teachers and staff off the university so we decided to present our stall inside
the university. So that every customer can approach us easily.
But in case if we do not get permission to present the stall in the university
then we will present it outside the university near the gate or in parking area.
