The students will need their Ipads. The teacher will lead the whole group in discussion. She will start by introducing the lesson, by asking students to count from 0 to 20. She will then ask if they can count objects? She will then model had to count objects and then write the number. She will then have the students do it with her, and then have the students individually answer questions. As she asks students, she will be assessing their knowledge via checklist. The teacher will then show the students how to use the software. The teacher will begin to use the app showing the students, but having them answer. Then she will break the students into peers. She will have the students work together to use Dimension U. The teacher will pair strong students with students who are still working on counting to help them. The teacher will also walk around the classroom to assist students. The teacher will then have the students do a worksheet on counting to assess their knowledge.
