The following links contain selected student projects from the courses of Intermediate GIS and

Advanced GIS. They cover a wide range of applications in both environmental and
socioeconomic aspects of geography and demonstrate the level of the expectation of these
courses. Although they are by no means the best student projects in GIS education, and even
some of them contain errors and mistakes, the authors of these papers have shown a significant
endeavor to develop solid understanding of GIS concepts and mastery of GIS skills. Hopefully,
this page may provide a reference to the prospect students of these GIS courses and set a baseline
for the future instructors of these courses.
