year, with the help of Dove schools district central office and superintendent,
some technologic tools will be purchased for a plot teacher and after positive
feedbacks the rest of teachers who want to use the equipment will get a
workshop to have it. Also after staff meeting school IT manager gather
information about new technology devices to inform teacher once a month.

CURRICULUM COMPONENT CRITERIA.

telecommunications and information technology to improve education services.
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Describe teachers' current access to instructional technology and current

use of digital tools.

All teachers are presented with laptops and ESL, and Sped teachers are
provided with I-Pads. Some campuses have new Kindles in their ELA
departments. Each class equips with smart boards and document cameras.

grade level and in each content area?
Board and other interested parties projector connected with a connection
cable to laptop or document camera. Teachers use their laptops to connect the
projectors to show a demo or a presentation or do practice using online

LEA's budget (LCAP) supports these goals, and whether future funding
proposals or partnerships may be needed for successful implementation.
Are targets for improvement in student achievement being met?
Yes, it is progress, especially giving students chrome books and an opportunity
to practice their content knowledge with useful software has improved students
success in all areas.
Does the LEA budget include allocations to acquire the hardware, electronic
learning resources, infrastructure, professional development, and technical
support necessary to implement the plan?
Yes, it does. Harmony Art and Technology School allocates around $ 50,000 for
the hardware learning resources, infrastructure, technical assistance and

understands how to use these new technologies to improve education services
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Summary of the teachers' and administrators' current technology proficiency and

integration skills and needs for professional development.
Do teachers have the classroom management strategies to work with the amount of
technology actually available in the classrooms?
Yes, they do. When the teacher orientation, all electronic devices that teachers will
use during the school year to be completed in the curriculum is presented.
Are administrators able to support teachers with the integration of technology into daily

curriculum?

using technology in regular curriculum and implement guidance how to do that.

Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, for providing
professional development opportunities based on your LEA needs assessment
data and the Curriculum Component of the plan.
How will teachers and administrators be trained and provided on-going
support in the effective integration of technology into the curriculum? (4Cs,
Substitution Augmentation Modification Redefinition [SAMR])
IT department will provide on-site and online training in addition to systemwide professional development programs held right before and right after the
school year starts. Teachers and administrators will also be trained and
supported to attend workshops, classes, and discussions regarding the
integration of technology held at countries, results etc.
What professional learning will be available so teachers and administrators
can make informed decisions using data to meet individual student academic
needs?
IT department provides on-site and online training to the teachers and

regarding how to analyze data and how they can make informed decisions to
make students academic needs.
INFRASTRUCTURE, HARDWARE, TECHNICAL SUPPORT, SOFTWARE, AND
ASSET MANAGEMENT COMPONENT CRITERIA
The Plan must include an assessment of the telecommunication services,
hardware, software, asset management, and other services that will be needed to
improve education services.
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Describe the existing hardware, Internet access, electronic learning resources,

technical support, and asset management already in the LEA that will be used to
support the Curriculum and Professional Development Components of the plan.

What technologies are available to facilitate home/school communication

such as email, web pages, and voice mail?
Harmony Art and Technology School utilizes several ways to build home/school
communication. There is a designated website parent.harmonytx.org to inform
parents about the curriculum, available software, and resources, programs offed
and provide guidance on technology papers and internet safety. The most
common way of interaction is email correspondence. Parents are provided

Describe the technology hardware, electronic learning resources, networking and
telecommunications infrastructure, physical plant modifications, technical
support, and asset management needed by the LEA's teachers, students, and
administrators to support the activities in the Curriculum and Professional
Development components of the plan.
Is the total cost of ownership of the technology being considered? If so, how is
this addressed?
Yes, it is, but it depends on what technology device will be obtained. If that is
copiers, generally leasing option is accepted, and the copiers are used at the end
of the term. If the technology tools are like laptops, desktops, tablets, smart
boards, or document cameras, then they are either directly paid off if
communitys budget permits or they are supported.
Will students and teachers be able to access their work from any location in the

(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Describe the process for evaluating the plan's overall progress and impact on
teaching and learning.
Who will oversee the data collection, analysis, and program modification
process?
Data collection is observed at the campus, community, and central office. At
the district and school level, principals and area administrators oversee the data.
At the central office, there are three specialists manage the system data and run
the reports.
What criteria will be used to measure success (e.g., test scores, student
portfolios, percentage of students attaining grade-level content standards,
attendance, dropout rate, matriculation to college, or full-time employment)?
We looked at the advancement of the students held on grades, state tests and
the tools that allowed for students like benchmark tests from different subjects or
online modules results. Each criterion has its rate which the user can edit the
default rates.

Describe the schedule for evaluating the effect of plan implementation, including
a description of the process and frequency of communicating evaluation results
to tech plan stakeholders.
