    I have messed around with an evaluation version of Microstrategy software (9.2.1m). After some time
    I have what I want, a nice project connected to a mysql database which shows reports on a mobile
    device... I would now like to clean up and perform a clean install.
    I have install the free Microstrategy mobile suite 9.2.1m on a brand new machine... how can I safely
    transfer the entire project from the old machine to the new one? I have looked on the forum and
    knowledge base, but could not find a low-level step-by-step guide.
    Any help is welcome.

    Please follow the below steps.
    1.Take a backup of the metadata --if its a acces database just copy it to another location.
    2.Uninstall the MicroStrategy 9.2.1.
    3. Delete all files related to MSTR from C:/Program Files/Common Files and C:/Program
    Files/MicroStrategy
    4. Restart your machine.
    5. Do a fresh install again
    6. Now create a 2 tier connection for the old metadata.
    7. Use the 3 tier of the new metadata.
    8. Duplicate the project from 2 tier to 3 tier.

    if its a version upgrade from 9.2.1 to 9.2.1m , then follow the configuration wizard to upgrade the
    Metadata as well...
    Always take metadata backup for recovery,
    Then as poornima said follow the process...
    Perform the clean installation, once its done,
    Point the Metadata to Intelligence Server and configure it....
    Goto the configuration wizard and update the Intelligence Server Components,Stats, HList if any...
