Field Observation provides education majors with the opportunity to observe and work with students at
the grade level they are interested in eventually teaching. It consists of a 10-hour observation at an
available school, which teaches the corresponding grade level(s) that the educational major is looking
to eventually teach. After filling out and submitting the CSN Education Departments Field
Observation Packet (including signed waivers), the CSN student receives their Field Placement with an

Observation Time Log and Observation Student Evaluation signed by the cooperating teacher.
