As a technology oriented university, the focus in class is understandably to deliver quality
technical knowledge and impact relevant skills, on the other hand where each one of us comes
from, the peoples real issues are about escaping from abject poverty, getting better education,
having affordable health care, better roads to transport there produce and being able to get
meaningful jobs or creating jobs. In line with the universitys Strategic Objective To be the
standard of excellence and innovation for societal transformation, you are expected to use the
knowledge (mobile computing) you have attained at the university to transform the society.
