Objectives
After doing a picture walk and reading Lets Find Out, students will be able to answer
questions about what happens during the Fall
After being put into groups for BUILD and talking about measurement, students will be
able to use unifix cubes and measure different Fall objects.
After reviewing LG2-S2 of Rewiring the Brain, students will be able to answer questions
about the letters p & b while playing a pumpkin board game
After doing a picture walk and reading Lets Find Out, students will be able to answer
questions about the life cycle of a pumpkin
After reading I Know its Autumn, students will be able to answer questions about the
story and about Fall
After watching The Four Seasons flocabulary video and completing the flocabulary
packet, students will be able to answer questions about the different seasons
After looking outside at the weather, students will be able to compare our weather every
day and decide what happens to the weather during the Fall
After talking about what happens to leaves during the Fall, students will be able to tear
different colored construction paper and create their own autumn leaf pictures

Culminating Activity
On the last day of this unit, Luce Road has their Fall Festival. This is in place of having
Halloween parties in the classroom. Students and their parents are able to go around
the school and participate in different Fall-themed activities such as games, crafts,
books, music, a hayride, and learning about nutrition.
