Talk about the natural resources used to build longhouses.
Bark and reed. Students make small models of the
longhouses using these resources.
Students will write or orally present an explanation about
their long house. Including its geometric shape, how many
people it houses, important features, etc.
Assess: Students longhouse model and longhouse writing
synopsis.

Students can choose resources to make longhouse model and
how they choose to talk about their creation.
