Immigration is America
This two thousand sixteen election so many important policies were being
addressed that even the candidates themselves were slandering the other candidates
policies. Immigration is one issue that never finds a satisficing solution. Looking at the
two candidates and hearing their immigration policies your choice is black or white.
Immigration does nothing but benefits our country as a whole and Hillary Clinton is
willing to embrace the benefits of immigration here in the United States. Through her
policies Hillary addresses that immigration is a positive outcome to our country and
enforces the idea that everyone in this country should have an equal opportunity for
prosperity even if you are immigrant that's why I fully endorse her policies for our
country.
Hilary pledges in her first hundred days in office that she will make the biggest
investments for good paying jobs since World War two not excluding immigrants of part
of her plan. She also pledges to introduce immigration reforms, this will give the
pathway to full and equal citizenship to all immigrants throughout the United States. I
fully support this policy because if most immigrants have citizenship they can pay taxes
which leads the country economic growth. Economic growth can lead to a better living
standard, better job opportunities and many more positive outcomes. One of my favorites
policies I stand for is to defend Obama's executive actions knowns as DACA or
DREAMers Act. This helps about five million immigrants to get an education they
deserve, without this millions of Americans can't afford education which means not a
better living standard for them and generations to come. This follows up with Hillary's
American workers have. One issue that is very commonly addressed are that some
Americans believe that immigrants come into this country and take away jobs they
exclaim is rightfully theirs. As reading Enrique's Journey I found Enrique discovering
this so call issue throughout his time in the United States and was shook because it's not
true at all. Its wrong for our government to send people back to Central America. If we
don't want to be stopped from going into the United States, how can we stop Central
Americans in our country. (Nazario 103). This quotes readdress some the idea of
Americans thinking that Central Americans come and take away jobs. Most jobs that
immigrants have aren't high salary or have great benefits, it's usually hard labor jobs no
one wants to do.
Discussing only some of Clinton's and Trumps immigration policies, Hillarys is
more humane and reasonable. Hillary welcomes all immigrants and focuses on the fact
that immigration can lead to something that can benefit our country rather than being
ignorant about it like Trump. Trump wants to spend money on deporting millions of
immigrants back to their country when in reality it will cost more money trying to deport
them than actually keeping them here. Most people that are against immigration don't
realize that this country was founded by immigrants and was also build upon immigrants.
America is seen as the land of opportunity so that's why so many people go through life
threatening journeys to come. Hillary understands how important immigrants mean to our
country and how much people sacrifice to come for example their families, love one and
many more possessions that come with it.
Immigration is bigger to our country that people think. Immigration goes back to
how this country was found and shaped. Immigration is one of the reason this country has
prospered and is significantly stable than many other country in various factors. Hillary
wants all immigrants to have full citizenship and understand what immigrants go through
emotionally physically and the disadvantages of just being an immigrant in this country
means . If we have a candidate who recognize the problems we have now on immigration
and is willing to fight for a better change we should support that candidate.
