Hi, Melanie
I'm really excited at the moment! I'm hiking in Ireland with my class from school! We're
here for two weeks and we are travelling all over the Emerald Isle (that's another name
for Ireland!). This is the first day and we're shopping in Dublin. The city is really nice
and the people are so friendly! It's a great place.
Then we're hiking tomorrow. We're leaving the city on the train. Then, when we arrive
in Wicklow, we're hiking in the mountains! I'm a little nervous about that. I'm not very
fit and I get tired easily. Oh, and we're camping in tents! We're making a fire and
everything! It sounds great. And luckily, we're not fishing for our dinner. We're buying it
at the supermarket before we leave!
On our last day, we're climbing in the Wicklow Mountains. That's a new experience for
me but I think it will be fun. This is looking like my best holiday ever!
